The new Raytex PC30
The new Raytex PC30 is a
large format pinhole camera
with a number of
improvements to the Raytex 2000.
The Raytex PC30 comes in
three formates
4 x 5, 5 x 7 and 8 x 10 inches.
Features:
- Standardised optic mount; the
Raytex PL01 or the Raytex PL07 can be used.
- New improved pressure
plate; all mechanical parts are concealed.
The film holder is inserted into the slot and clicks into place.
- The carry handle can now be
folded down for storage or transport.
The folded up handle also serves as the backsight for the viewfinder.
- The viewfinder can be
folded down for storage or transport.
Folded up it clicks into the backsight/carry handle.
- A built in spirit level
allows setting up straight.
- Two tripod plates allow
using the camera for vertical or horizontal pictures.
- The tripod plates have both
threads 3/16’ and 1/4”.
- The back and the front can
be unscrewed to allow cleaning or maintenance.
- The camera is made from
strong 16mm MDF board.
All joints are rebated for maximum strength.
- The inside of the camera is
painted with a special non reflective black paint.
- The outside of the camera
is polished to a satin finish.
- Two colours are available –
light birch (pictured) or dark jarrah (West Australian mahogany)
- New wide angle focal
lengths: 4 x 5” = 75mm, 5 x 7” = 100mm, 8 x 10 = 150mm
