Details:
The Raytex PL01 is a precision engineered pinhole
optic with built in shutter and a quick change “Sandwich Foil Holder”
This innovative design holds the foil perfectly flat between two finely machined discs.
It allows the use of extremely thin foil, even paper and therefore provides the ideal conditions to achieve the perfect pinhole for outstanding photographic results.
The “Sandwich Foil Holder” sits in the base which is mounted to the lens board.
The collar with the built in shutter holds the Foil Holder in place. By unscrewing the collar the Foil Holder can be quickly replaced with another Foil Holder. A set of Foil Holders with different pinhole sizes allows to change for a different pinhole size within seconds.

Unscrew Collar/Shutter Assembly |
Take off Collar/Shutter Assembly |
Remove “Sandwich Foil Holder” |
Replace with a “Sandwich Foil Holder” of a different pinhole size |
Replace Collar/Shutter Assembly and open shutter for exposure as required |
The Raytex PL01 is available from a number of selected camera suppliers or directly from the Raytex factory.
PL01 comes complete with base, collar, shutter, one “Sandwich Foil Holder” and one foil.
