A Carl Zeiss Jena Satzlinse casket set.
It consists of 4 interchangable elements which combine to give 6 combinations , and along with the 4 single elements you have a choice of 10 lenses !!!. These all come in the original velvet lined casket. The focal lengths of the single elements are 530mm, 450mm, 385mm,and 320mm.giving combinations in the range of 196mm to 280mm. This lens performs beautiffully,including the single elements all these combinations cover 8x10 and the 450 and 530 elements will also cover 12x20 with a moderate amount of stopping down. .The optical condition of the elements is very good , The 530mm element has a 4mm long scratch about 4mm from the rim other than this the elements are free of scratches, cleaning marks, fungus or seperation.the original mounting ring is included. Sets like this are very rare ( ive never seen one on ebay ) my reserve is quite high as this is a most desireable and usefull lens set.
