Entry for August 21, 2008

Hello all,

2009 is here. All over New Zealand the grapes are well ahead and the harvests will all be early. The crop is big in Otago and will be intensly flavoured. At the moment I am organizing the bottling of the last batches of the Riesling I made from Alexandra. There is just a few bottles left of the second batch that has sold so very well.

The Pinot Noir (ROW 47) from 2003 has hit top peak and I am glad I kept a lot of it aside as it is now really beautiful deep cheery colour with peppery, blackberry  jam tastes.

Tastings 20.00 per head. Usually seven  days a week.

Email bookings or phone. You can go to the website and print off the map and the various details. Do not hesitate to ask for  extra details.
