JAN SMITH ELLIS

Hello all! I had planned on being in Yakima for our big 40th (!) reunion, but for many reasons my plans had to be changed. I'm sure it will be lots of fun! I'd love to hear from you via email...my email address is jansmithellis@hotmail.com.

My husband and I are still living in Indiana where we own and operate 3 Papa Murphy's Take and Bake Pizza franchises. PPMurphy's is expanding eastward and currently has over 900 franchises, most of which are on the west coast. We opened our first store in 2001, our 2nd one in 2003 and our 3rd store opened in 2005. We are very busy with all of the stores, lots of personnel "issues" to deal with, and just plain old business to take care of day after day! It's way more work than I ever thought it would be, but the more stores we open the easier it gets!

We're hoping to "retire" in the next couple of years and then return to Washington. We'll see what the Lord has in mind for us....maybe another great "adventure!"

Nothing new with our children other than they're both living and working in the Seattle area. They're 23 and 25 years old, enjoying the single life!
