Monthly Newsletter...
Welcome to Westwood Pack 3805!!

This season is progressing nicely for our pack.  We have a lot of wonderful things planned and we hope to see each and every one of you at our monthly functions.
We hold Leader/Committee Meetings on the third Thursday of each month.  This month's meeting will be Thursday, Feb 21st at 7:00 pm at Schlotzsky's.   Everyone is welcome to attend as we can always use new ideas and suggestions.  If anyone is interested in helping in any way (even the small things are appreciated) please contact any of our leaders.
We have pack meetings on the first Thursday of each month.
Our meeting for March is scheduled for Thursday, March 7th at 6:00 pm at the school.  We will be having a Pizza Party for the pack for their popcorn sales.  After we finish with the pizza, we will be having the Roman Olympics.  Each den will be responsible for an activity and the parents of the boys in that den will need to be present to help their den leader.
If anyone is interested in decorating the bulletin board at Westwood, please contact Leisa Lamar at 332-4056.

Soon it will be March and we are getting close to the end of the school year.  The reason this is being mentioned is because this is the last year that Laura Cunningham and Leisa Lamar will be a part of our pack.  Laura is the Committee Chairman, her son will be moving up to Boy Scouts and Leisa is the Chartered Org Rep, she is graduating and moving out of Stillwater.  Both of these positions will need to be filled before the end of this school year so that the new people will be informed of the many procedures.

We really need some more parent involvement.  We have a few (very few) people who help out during functions but what is needed is a few individuals who are willing to take on these responsibilities.  Ultimately, it would be wonderful if we could get ALL of the parents involved, that way, each person could just do a small part.  Instead of the way it is now, where a few people do EVERYTHING.  Please be thinking about ways YOU could help.  Remember, these are YOUR boys and they need help.

Thank you,

Westwood Pack 3805 Leaders
