Intelligent Tortoise
opens the batting and tries his best, but the ball keeps missing his bat
and hitting his chest. He's scored two runs and is coping well, when the
ball hits the wicket, having bounced off his shell!
The Mayor, the
umpire, raises his finger, -that means the tortoise is out -he can no longer linger.
He leaves the wicket and saunters away (at his usual slow pace).
The umpire starts to go red in the face. He shouts, "Hurry up!
