The library is kept quiet and peaceful by the recordkeepers, usually. Kismi, Calliste, and their crew patrol the wings, seeking out anyone who disobeys. Eventually, full-time dragoner librarians will be in place, as the recordkeepers belong in the Records Room, and not the library. The library is not the Records Room. The Records Room is much smaller, for one, and only contains clutch charts and minimal information on flights and hatchings. The library contains information on just about everything. Accurate and extensive timelines, guidebooks, wing information; the Library is much, much larger than the Records Room. If searching for clutch charts, the Records Room is the first place to go. And it's irking to the recordskeeper that their traditional cave is becoming replaced by the newfangled library. Which is why they're eager to leave the library as soon as possible.
