Newsletter #1, 10-09-04

Oh yes, it's the unofficial offical newsletter for all you lovely diversity DJs. Maybe this will become a regular occurance...

Attached right now is the website form we'd like you to fill out if you want your info on the new website. fill it out and send it right back to me in attachment form. If any mac users need this in an Appleworks file, I can send that too. All you need to do is let me know. If I have anyone's email wrong, don't horde the information - tell me.

Also, WFCS is in workings to create a Diversity concert. Essentially, it will be held in Semesters either this month or next month sometime. If anyone knows of any talent that would be interested in performing, please respond. I have about 3 or 4 acts in mind (but no phone calls have been made) and I want to give everyone who'd like to do this the ability to do so. So promptness is a key factor.

Most Diversity DJ's already know, and if you know, you can skip this paragraph, but please fill out the logs correctly. We're going to have to turn them in at the end of the semester to whomever takes them (I guess the FCC), and it'd be nice that when we apply for a sparkling new liscense that our logs are proper. This means actually writing the time when you do legal ID's, writing down which PSA you do (letter and number - or just the number for instant replay PSA's) and under that the time when the PSA is played. When applicable, DJ's must write the time when they sign on/off the station in the comments section. All of this is fairly standard.

Root for your favorite postseason baseball team (If it's the Angels, many appologies...) and have a good month.
