Frank, Gil, and Friends offers listeners of Central Connecticut the widest variety of Sinatra and Sinatra-related music on the airwaves. It's a unique mix of pop standards performed by the "Chairman of the Board" and performers in a variety of genres ranging from jazz and country to rap and metal. This ain't your grandfather's Sinatra program!

On the air since December 1993, “Frank, Gil, and Friends” regularly features “Duets III: Sinatra and Academe,” a series of discussions with CCSU faculty and staff about their work at Central accompanied by appropriate Sinatra songs. “Duets III” has featured faculty from such diverse fields as Biology, Philosophy, English, Economics, and Anthropology.
Dr. Gil Gigliotti, chairman and professor of English at CCSU, authored “A Storied Singer: Frank Sinatra as Literary Conceit” (Greenwood Press, 2002).
