History:
Adam Masterson was born the little brother of Ryan Masterson a.k.a. Scorpion. His parents are Frank and Dana Masterson. Frank was an accountant and had plans for his sons to be powerful people. He had started college funds for both Ryan and Adam once he discovered Dana was pregnant. He always wanted the boys to become wealthy doctors. Little did he know, that even though they would both become quite wealthy, it would be in an entirely different profession. Adam was born while Frank, Dana, and little Ryan were visiting friends in Colorado. He was two weeks early, but was extremely healthy at birth.

In grade school, Adam was into sports. At the time, they had moved from Central Florida to Southern California. Ryan was thirteen and Adam was eleven. Ryan got into surfing, and just like any other little brother, Adam wanted to be like Ryan. Both of them were soon excellant surfers, but before long, the family moved again. This time, they had moved to Western Colorado. Adam, still interested in sports, yet no longer interested in traditional sports such as football, baseball, and basketball, was now skiiing, snowboarding, skateboarding, and doing many other "extreme" sports. He began doing anything that was considered dangerous, yet his parents, who were very liberal, did not mind their son's odd activities because he maintained such a high grade point average in school.

When Adam was sixteen, his brother Ryan had just graduated from high school and left for college in Michigan. After being gone for a year, Ryan came home for summer vacation. One day, he took Adam aside and told him that instead of going to college, he was actually attending wrestling school during the day while bartending at night. Ryan told Adam to not tell their parents because a major fight would probably insue. When Adam returned to school the following year as a junior, he began to think about what he really wanted to do. He no longer wanted to go to college to become his father's famous doctor, but he didn't know what else to do since he never like wrestling that much anyway. The next year on his eighteenth birthday, Adam recieved a package from Ryan, yet did not open it. A week later, Adam opened the box to find five tapes.

Adam put the tape in and watched it. What he saw was some of the most amazing wrestling ever. They were tapes of Japanese and Mexican wrestling. Adam enjoyed it a lot. On Spring Break, Adam went to Detroit to visit Ryan. While there, he took a few wrestling classes and enjoyed that as well. Yet, it wouldn't be till the last day with his brother that week that he would begin to have a love for wrestling. Ryan's girlfriend of five months, Rachel Rivers, was supposed to be Ryan's valet. She was sick and was in no condition to make an appearance. Since Ryan was horrible on the mic at the time, Adam asked if he could take her place. He put on some flashy clothes and was amazing on the mic. The other wrestlers called him the "Next Ric Flair". That was when Adam realized what he wanted to do.

When Adam returned to Colorado, he studied the art of professional wrestling. He began to study the moves and learn how to do them. It was only a few months later when Adam had graduated from High School that he told his parents that he wanted to be a wrestler. It was during this conversation turned fight that Adam let it slip that Ryan had been training to wrestle for two years. Two weeks later, Frank Masterson had thrown Adam out of the house and told Ryan to not come back either. Adam and Ryan, along with Ryan's girlfriend Rachel and her sister Niki, decided to move to Miami, FL. There was a wrestling school there, and Ryan had also met a wrestler named John Schiedlen a.k.a. Fang who owned a school in Miami, in addition to a seafood restaurant.

Adam, Ryan, Niki, and Rachel moved into a two bedroom apartment in a slummy part of town. Ryan was bartending while Adam, Niki, and Rachel were waiting tables. John would train Adam during the day for two years. It wasn't until Adam was twenty-one when the three got a big break. This break took them in very different directions. Adam was offered a deal to go to Japan and further his skills as a high flyer. Ryan, Niki and Rachel was signed to Albert Industries and began to work for the EAF, where John had quickly became a big star. Meanwhile, Adam was at work for four months in Japan. Once his deal was over, Ryan tried to get Adam signed to Albert Industries, but at the time, they had too many small wrestlers, not even looking to see Adam's potential and talent. Adam got another deal, this time to tour in Mexico. Seven months in Mexico made Adam a polished high flyer, and didn't hurt his Spanish, either.

In August of 2000, Ryan contacted Adam. Ryan had hit it big with popularity in the IWF, NSWF, and HIPW. He had been offered a big deal with the XCW/Albert Industries, but to get a deal for Adam, he would have to would have go use a prefabricated gimmick and wrestle under the name, Tornado for promotional reasons. Rachel also joined under her long-time alias, Mixie. They would be known as the Triple Threat, and were certainly popular. Scorpion had picked up the United States Title, Tornado the Cruiserweight Title, and Mixie the Women's Title. Yet, in a match against long time XCW Superstar and future Champion, Stunning Stan, would be his last for eight months. He sustained a major leg injury. Many thought he would not ever return to the ring due to Stan's stiff style which had been a problem in the past..

He had surgery on his knee four days after the match. The surgery was successful, but it was known that it would be the rehabilitation that would be the true test. He began to train for a comeback just days after the surgery. It was expected that it would take him nine months for his knee to recover good enough for him to make it back into the ring, then another three to get back into his original state of wrestling ability, yet would never be able to have such fast paced high flying matches as he learned in Japan and Mexico and dassled people with in the XCW. Yet, he worked day and night because he had decided that he would suprize everyone and be better than ever. In February of 2001, Tornado's brother Scorpion along with long-time girlfriend Mixie opened a business for wrestlers that basically ensured them, and provided them with all the benefits that wrestlers don't have like regular people. They would also copyright their name and fight legal battles for the wrestlers.

Scorpion was not more popular than ever, and was quite wealthy. Tornado was no longer a rising star, but began being recognised. It was only two months later that Ryan and Adam decided to open their own wrestling promotion. They also teamed up with John Schiedlen for one last time in this business venture. They called it the International Wrestling Alliance. They had such people as the XCW's Mr Sandman and the NSWF and WFW's Revolution headlining. There had been planned to be a Scaffold Match pitting the WFW, MCW, and XCW Star 'Balistic' Bryan Deas against the NSWF's P-Cool in the first show, yet P-Cool never showed up. That was when Adam Masterson, now known to fans everywhere as Scorpion's little dare-devil brother, Tornado, volunteered to be in the match. Ryan, Rachel, and John all thought he was crazy since it had only been close to eight months since his surgery and would take another four before he could even think of going into the ring. Adam gave Ryan a doctor's note saying he was perfectly healthy and could wrestle again. Ryan still wasn't sure, but ended up letting him. Bryan is a big man, and it is said that big men work bad matches, but that night, he worked as if he were Adam's size. The match was amazing and Adam was given the win, yet that wasn't enough. After Adam was announced the winner, he hit Bryan with the Plunge off the Scaffold.

Adam had been announced as the winner and first IWA eXtreme Champion. Yet, this would be the only show put out by the IWA because in that same show, magic happened inside the ring, but backstage sparks flew and mayhem insued. Rachel and Ryan had a fight that had a lot of verbal abuse, yet physical violence wasn't far behind. The two broke up, which was quite a tragidy since before the show, Ryan was planning to propose in the show's finalle. Adam quit talking to Ryan after his abuse of Rachel. Adam and Rachel's friendship deepened from this change in events. A month later in May, the romance began, as Adam and Rachel had become a couple. The two soon reconciled with Ryan, yet tragidy was not far behind. Ryan Masterson died in a motorcycle accident on June 2, 2001. This led to a reunion of Adam to his parents. Rachel and Adam soon again began to train. Two or three weeks later, Adam and Rachel were offered a spot in the WFW with many old friends. Adam was known as Tornado in the WFW and success was just around the corner.

Adam's future was looking good as he ventured into the WFW and EWWF with his good friend, Revolution. Although, he soon found out, the road schedule with Adam's American WFW appearances and Japanese EWWF appearances began to conflict. He and Revolution had to cut their EWWF career short after Tornado had only one match in which he won the European Title. This gave Adam time to focus on the WFW. Now with all the time to focus on better material, Adam's WFW career began no soar to new heights with the gainings of the WFW Cruiserweight, Hardcore, and Tag Team Championships. He then began to wrestle under his real name, Adam Masterson. The now Adam Masterson and the now Rachel Rivers' WFW career was sky-rocketing!

Both Adam and Rachel began to have success which they had not seen before. With major feuds with such wrestlers as Revolution, asylum, and Bryan Deas, Adam had really began to get recognised. He now decided that he should get his name out there, and to do that, he did many things. For one, he joined a faction lead by Jeff Harris. Another thing was endorsements. Adam and Rachel got a deal with Dr Pepper. The two did a few other commercials and were featured in many magazines. But the big thing that got Adam's name out there was the one thing that made him deserve all this: his in-ring skill. He impressed crowds night-after-night and he continues to do that to this day in the WFW ring. After a brief break, Adam and Rachel are back in the WFW and better than ever!
