Jack O’Hara: Now making his way down the aisle. He
hails from San Diego, CA...he is CHRIS LANCER!!! (The cameras spin around the arena as the lights dim. The lights begin to flicker on and off as "It's Goin Down" by the X-ecutioners featuring Linkin Park hits the speakers and the crowd erupts into cheers. Smoke fills out of the entrance way and Chris Lancer steps out and stands at the top of the ramp. He takes a sip from his bottle of water and throws it behind him while looking at the fans. He slides under the bottom rope and hops to his feet. Lancer walks over to the corner on the opposite side of the ring and climbs to the second turnbuckle. He raises his arms into the air as thousands of flashes appear from the audience. Pyro shoots from the two turnbuckles on his left and right side, into the rafters. A single spotlight shines on Lancer for a few seconds before the lights go back to normal and the music slowly fades.)

History: |
Chris Lancer was born on April 28, 1976 in Chicago, Illinois. He was
the only child of a couple who were natives of the Philippines. After
the first year of his life passed, his family moved across the country
to San Diego, California. As a child, he was very quiet. He did not
have many friends and spent his time alone. Nevertheless, he was still
able to maintain good grades. When he turned 15 years old, Lancer
started high school at Morse High. Lancer was still very quiet and somewhat
shy. Encouraged by his father, he tried out for and made the freshman
football team. Even though he was on the team, he was still criticized
and rejected by his teammates. When he turned 17, Lancer quit football and secretly began taking lessons at a local wrestling school. With the help of his instructors, he discovered a natural knack for wrestling. At the same time, his cousin Joel (who was an amateur boxer) was teaching him how to box. With Joel’s advice and tuteledge, Lancer was starting to develop his powerful left hand, a left hand, which would soon become one of the strongest in the business. Amazingly, Lancer was still able to keep up with his good grades. The next year, during his senior year in high school, Lancer’s life took a big change, one that would have a positive impact. During a party, which took place that year, Lancer fought off two of his classmates who were harassing sexually harassing another one of his classmates named Lara Reyes. Intrigued by the reasons behind his actions, Lara started talking to him. Soon, the two became quite fond of each other and started dating, much to the dismay of many people at school w! ho criticized Lancer for his “lone-wolf” attitude. They both graduated with high honors from Morse High in 1994. Two years later, at the age of 20, Lancer received an offer from a wrestling promotion in Japan. With nothing left to do in the United States, Chris and Lara travelled to the Far East and were both signed to contracts, much to the dismay of their parents. While in Japan, Lancer met a fellow native San Diegan named Mark Mendoza (aka Mark Fury). Considering that they were two from San Diego, they became good friends. Both Lancer and Lara made the most of their time there. Chris studied shoot fighting and the art of submission wrestling from several Japanese veterans. However, one move he learned stood out from the rest. He learned the deadly, choke-out submission known as the Katahajime. Two years later, the couple returned to the United States. After two years of college, Lancer managed to find a job with a promotion known as FCW. Chris started wrestling under the alias of “The Phantom”. He started off slow but soon got his big break after winning the 2000 FCW Lord of the Ring Tournament. From there, his career boomed. He soon found himself with the FCW European Title and the FCW United States Title soon after. He brought in his friend from Japan Mark Fury (who won the FCW Cruiserweight Title) and after a few short months, Lancer and Fury beat the almost unstoppable tandem of Hunnish and Reaper to win the FCW Tag Team Titles!!! After the close of FCW, Lancer quickly found a job with independent promotion, UCW and won the Television Title right before the closing of the fed. Lancer’s combniation of strength, speed, and intelligence is one that is unrivaled within the ranks of WFW. His extensive knowledge and use of shoot fighting tactics make him even more dangerous. With the deadly weapons encased within each fist, and one goal in mind, Lancer continues on his path to glory and supremacy, taking out anything that stands in his way.
