Judy wanted to go to college, but didn't have the money. She was forced into a life of prostitution since there was no other way she could provide for her daughters. It was an easy way to make money, but the long nights without their mother and being taken care of by a family friend certainly paid a toll on Rachel and Niki. They grew up in a bad part of New York and even though they got good grades in school, it didn't matter. It was the other things that showed what they would be like later on in life. Rachel was good at everything. She always tried hard and succeeded. Niki was a tom boy. She loved sports, but often got into fights with local girls...and boys.

When Rachel and Niki were thirteen, the police came to their house one morning and told them their mom had been found dead in an alley in Eastern Brooklin. The girls were going to be sent to foster homes, but they ran away. They were living on the streets, and had quit school. During the day Rachel and Niki worked at a factory making only fifty cents an hour. At night, they worked as strippers, since they looked old for their age, they had fake IDs made. At the age of sixteen, Niki had deceided that she wanted to be a wrestler, so she began to work at a local gym during the day, and they would let her stay in a back room and give her food, and at night train her to wrestle. Rachel wasn't interested in wrestling, but visited the gym a couple times. There, she was discovered that she had a natural gift for gymnastics. She began doing the same thing her sister did and was wanted for the 1996 United States Gymnastics team, but she couldn't get in because a girl named Keri Strugg had a rich uncle, and bribed the board.

Rachel was heartbroken and went back to stripping. A year after starting to wrestle, Niki was pretty good, and was asked to train in Detroit, where many people were discovered. She was offered a small apartment as part of the deal, so she decided to ask Rachel along. The first day at the gym, Rachel met Ryan Masterson a.k.a. Scorpion. They really liked each other and began dating. Rachel continued to train as a gymnist until 1995, when a new wrestling promotion opened in Detroit. Ryan and Niki joined, and because of her striking beauty, Rachel was asked to come aboard as Ryan's valet. She did, so she could give the money to Niki for bills and stuff since she had been freeloading for a year. She hated watching it, but she loved performing and doing interviews. But, one night, all of that changed.

The creative consultant for this Detroit-based company really liked Rachel, and wanted her more involved with the storyline, but she had no in-ring experience, so he couldn't do anything. Then, one day he took her aside, and showed her three moves: the ddt, the top rope cross body block, and the bulldog. That night, Ryan was wrestling his cousin, later to be known as Flood. Niki, known as Lips at the time was his valet/"girlfriend". Flood accidentally injured his leg performing a top rope high risk manuever. Niki/"Lips" was told to be holding Ryan/"Scorpion" down while it was performed, but Ryan was to move and then hit his finisher for the win. Ryan was also injured by the move and could barely get up, but Rachel remembered being told that "the show must go on", so she slid into the ring, grabbed Niki by the hair, hit a bulldog, and pulled Ryan on top of Flood. Rachel was given a standing ovation backstage for taking charge and such a beautiful bulldog.

Rachel began training intensively, and often used her gymnist background in the ring for innovative moves. She soon was in tag team matches with Ryan, and after that even was awarded for being the Woman of the Year in "WOW" for the Midwestern non-televised region. Rachel soon liked wrestling as much as Niki and Ryan, and then soon later, they were joined by Ryan's little brother, Adam, who Rachel was very good friends with. When Rachel turned twenty, though, the group would split up for a while, though.

Things were rapidly changing. Ryan, Rachel, and Niki were offered deals in a new company called EASF. They were a part of a company owned by wrestling mogel, "Fat" Albert Studley. They needed exposure, and Albert Industries could provide them that because they had television deals with TNN and FX. They would be on television, which meant they would be big. Adam, though, wasn't as experienced as the other three, and even though offered a deal by Albert Industries for a developmental contract, he took multi-week tours of Japan and Mexico to further his experience. Rachel was known as Legs, Niki: Lips, and Ryan: Scorpion. They were part of the Miami Clique with such people as Fang, Kwik Killer, and Chris Crane. They were an instant sensation with the fans, and Rachel won the Women's Title in her first match against Asia and Fyre. Things were really going good until the headliner of the group, Fang, suffered a neck injury at the hands of Powerbomb performing a, well, powerbomb on him.

Since Fang was injured, the rest of the Clique was "suspended", or put on the side until Fang could come back. On his return the following March, many Clique members were fired. The only remaining members were Rachel (now known as Mixie), Fang, Scorpion, and Kwik Killer. Niki was one of the ones who got fired. She went to Mexico and finished Adam's tour with him till June. The famed nWo was next to happen. Mixie and Fang were to abandon Scorpion and Kwik Killer. The Miami Clique now ceased to exist, and even though Fang did hold the Tag Team Title with Powerbomb, and when the nWo split up, Fang and Mixie returned to Kwik Killer and Scorpion, the EASF was going down hill quickly. Kwik Killer retired from wrestling, and the EASF closed its doors, but Albert Industries was still thriving. Since many wrestlers were still under contract with Albert Industries, A.I. began a partnership with WFW and sent much of its talent over there.

It was only a month after the EASF closed that the XCW opened. It was a part of Albert Industries and many former EASFites returned. But the big news was that they had welcomed Fang, Mixie, and Scorpion back starting a group known as the Triple Threat. It was a big sucess, and in Fang's second match, he had won the XCW Title because of the huge response he got from the fans. But, his neck was reinjured by Jason Bane in a tombstone piledriver. His doctors told him to not wrestle again. Scorpion and Mixie were released from the XCW with Fang since they were only the dressing while Fang was the whole salad. Scorpion was asked to join the IWF, a part of True Great Inc in conjunction with the Carter Academy. There was where Scorpion and Mixie were given a chance. And even better than that, Niki was invited to the IWF to give Scorpion a "threesome" gimmick with both women smitten over him. It was a big success, and Scorpion was elevated to Main Event status, but it was short-lived. The IWF closed two months after opening.

The XCW welcomed Scorpion and Mixie back with their new-found popularity, and not only that, but Adam, to be known as Tornado was brought in as well. Scorpion was involved in a feud with "Stunning" Stan and Mr Sandman for several months. Fang was even brought back with a commissionary role. Scorpion finally got a title shot... and won! The problem was that many backstage creative control people didn't want Scorpion as champion. The next night, Scorpion was Bret Hart-ed. He was told to go and win the belt in a return match. "Stunning" Stan was told to get it earlier on. Scorpion left wrestling for several months after that, and Mixie went with him.

In March of 2001, Scorpion and Mixie opened Rule Breaker Inc. They bought Coast To Coast Wrestling and renamed it International Wrestling Alliance. In the first show, Mixie was to lose against someone she had never expected to meet again. Her half sister: Amanda Everett a.k.a. Kristi. After her match, she went to see Scorpion, and they got into a huge fight. Words turned into violence, and Ryan Masterson, the man who planned to propose to Mixie at the end of the show, hit Mixie as his brother, Adam a.k.a. Tornado walked in. Tornado grabbed Rachel and they left together. This tragedy was sorted out in the closing of the IWA and Rule Breaker Inc. Mixie soon became more than friends with Tornado. They began to date, and continueally did so. One day, Ryan was out on his motorcycle when a Suburban ran him over. He was D.O.A. at the hospital. Rachel was just glad that the two of them had made up before it happened. Then, Rachel looked to get back into the ring and start over. She entered the WFW and hoped to put the past behind and have a new beginning with Adam Masterson. She experienced much success and now is even wrestling under her real name, Rachel Rivers.
