Last night, a tear fell into the ocean
For it was mine, a tear of pain
How could I forget that single moment
When I was alone in the rain.
My friend had just died, oh, I must have cried
For at leat an hour on that cold, December night.
Crying and tears,
Crying and pain,
When I was alone in the rain.
There was no hope of any real form, but soon a hand reached out
It had nails that shined and hands of silk.
It lifted my chin, seeming to say, 'Don't pout.'.
The graceful hand leaded up to her face,
Oh, what a face--she was so beautiful.
Nothing on it looked at all out of place.
Her eyes, they twinkled, her mouth, in a smile.
I hadn't seen people like this in a while.
She said "What's the matter?
Are you OK, honey?"
So I poured my heart out; I told her my story
Listening attentively, till' the time I was done.
She gave me advice; then out came the sun.
I only got one little chance to say good-bye, but
Even though heavens may tear us apart,
That angel named Megan will always be in my heart.
