Part 4
by Chrissie
After an hour, Will and Grace regained their strength. Grace, looked at Karen and Jack with an excited expression on her face.
"You're P-R-E-G-N-A-N-T?" asked Grace.
"Yup, isn't it cool?" returned Karen.
"More like scary," jumped in Will, whose eyes were now on Jack.
"Why you lookin' at me funny?" questioned Jack.
"Oh, just wondering...Do you really want to marry Karen?"
"I do, I really, really do!" exclaimed Jack. Will sat down on the leather couch and put his head in between his knees.
"Got a headache?" asked Grace.
"Oh, no, I just enjoy this position...Of course, I do! Do you have any pills, Karen?" asked Will.
"Sure Willma, what can I offer you," asked Karen in a waitress tone of voice, "I have Advil, Tylenol...Prozac...Lipitor. You name it, I got it!"
"I'll take two Advil...Thanks." Grace handed her friend a glass of water and started to massage his back. Jack and Karen were standing side by side, and hand in hand. They gave each other a signal to leave. So Karen said, "Hey Jack, wanna see a movie...or get drunk?"
"Sure, Sweetheart...See ya guys," said Jack.
As soon as Jack and Karen left Will's apartment, Will got up and walked few steps, stopped, and then asked, "So what do you think, Grace?"
"Bout what?" asked Grace.
Will shot her a look. "You know what."
"I think it's real," said Grace.
"But he's gay!" screamed Will.
"Yeah so what? The point is that he's in love. Ooooh, I think I know where this is coming from," said Grace.
"What are you talking about?" asked Will.
"Will," said Grace.
"Yes, Grace?" answered Will.
"Are you mad that Jack has decided to marry a woman, or are you upset that he's marrying Karen?"
"I don't know...I think that it's a little bit of both!"
"Okay, explain," said Grace.
"When I was so 'in the closet,' Jack made it his priority to help me discover and be proud of who I am. He's always been so vocal on being gay, among other things. So when he made this announcement I was shocked, as you can probably see. It's like he is taking his friendship away. Even though I criticize and make fun of him, he means a lot to me and my life. I don't want to loose that type of unconditional love."
"Now you listen to me, Will Truman," commanded Grace, "Jack is still one of your best friends. I understand how you can be disheartened by all of this. I think that you should talk to Jack about this, but you have to see that he's in love with Karen."
As soon as Grace said that Will exclaimed, "Ewwww!"
Grace gave Will a look of disapproval, so Will said, "Sorry."
"I know what you mean, Will. You have to know that Karen has a few good attributes. And she seems to really love him. So I think that there is going to be a wedding and they're going to be parents," said Grace.
Back at the Walker palace, Karen was giving Jack a massage, which he seemed to be enjoying a lot since he was moaning.
"Hey, Kare?" said Jack.
"What's up, Poodle?" asked Karen.
"Why was Will so upset before?"
"Well, I don't really know exactly why, honey. All I can say is maybe he's surprised by our big announcements," replied Karen.
"Oh..." Jack said as he got up from edge of the bed.
"This is really bothering you, isn't it?"
Just a little," said Jack.
"Come sit next to me and tell me 'bout it."
"Okay," Jack said as he ran and jumped on the bed. Karen was lying against the headboard and put Jack's head on her instant pillow, her bosom, and asked, "Comfortable?"
"Yes, thanks," replied Jack.
"Okay tell ‘Karebear' why you're upset."
"I'm sensing that Will is upset that I'm happy."
"Oh, and are you happy?" asked Karen, slyly.
"You shouldn't have to even ask that question...Of course I'm happy!"
"It's almost like Will thinks that since I'm marrying you, a woman, my friendship will disappear."
"Oh wow, that's not good!"
"It's also the total opposite of what is going to happen."
"But maybe Will just needs a reminder from you," Karen offered. "I would talk to Will from your heart. What the...Was that me?" Karen asked as she looked suspiciously around the room.
"Don't make fun...I'm serious," protested Jack.
"I'm sorry, forgive me, my big strong man," apologized Karen.
"You know you're brilliant, right?" asked Jack.
"I heard that around," Karen playfully said.
With this Jack got up from his very cushion-y pillow and turned around to face Karen. He then took her beautiful face into his hands and he started to kiss her passionately. He gently laid her down on the bed. He then looked in her awe-inspiring hazel eyes and said, "I'll love you forever!"
Karen pulled him on top of her and whispered, "And ever!" into his ear. They spent the remainder of the evening making sweet love together. They didn't stop until the sun rose the next day.
The next day, Jack decided to visit his best friend's office to try to get Will's blessing and to ask him a huge favor. As Jack was just about walk into Will's office, he heard a meeting going on between Will and Ben Douchette, Will's boss. Out of courtesy Jack waited for Ben to leave. As Ben was leaving he gave Jack a big bear hug and then left so Will and Jack could talk.
"Hey," said Will.
"Hello Biscuit, how ya doing?" asked Jack.
"Can't complain. Just confused."
"I guess that I threw you for a loop. Can I try to explain?"
"Of course," responded Will. He motioned for Jack to sit.
"Okay, stop me at any time if you are confused."
"No problem," said Will.
"Okay when I first came out, a long, long time ago, I did it because I needed to feel happy. Up until that moment in my life, women didn't pay a lot of attention to me and I never had a date. So my attraction for guys stemmed from being shot down by women. Are you understanding this?"
"Amazingly yes," responded Will.
"Very good!" exclaimed Jack.
"Continue," said Will.
"That brings us to now. No actually that brings us to the day that I first met Karen. At the time, I was unaware that I had found the person that I am supposed to spend the rest of my life with. When I realized that I truly loved Karen, I had to unwillingly keep those powerful emotions to myself. But you make no mistake, my love for Karen has always been there and over the course of the years that love has become more powerful," stated Jack.
"Okay hold on a second. Answer this for me, do you really and truly love Karen?"
"Yes. I do with all of my heart," answered Jack.
"Wow, I see it clearly for the first time, you're in love!"
"In the spirit of my love for Karen, I need to ask you two very important questions..." said Jack.
"Ok, sure."
"First, your opinion has made an impact on my life, so Karen and I really want to have your blessing. Do we have it?"
"Well, now that I believe that you actually love her, then yes, of course, you have my blessing," said Will.
"That's terrific! My next favor is the biggest thing that I've ever asked you to do...Will you be my best man?"
"Jackie, I would be more than honored to be your best man. Hey, it's tradition for the best man to throw the groom to be a Bachelor party. Do you want me to see if Carla is available? You remember her, right?"
"Shut up," said Jack with the widest grin on his face. You would think, knowing Jack that he would be excited to have Carla come to give him a lap dance, but Jack was more excited to get the answers that he wanted from Will.
"I love you, buddy," Jack emotionally said.
Meanwhile, at Grace Adler Designs, Grace was frantically running around the office trying to find a blueprint of a couch that she just hired for. Karen was sitting at her medicine filled desk calmly painting her nails.
"Hey, Karen, have you seen the Peterman blueprint? I kind of need it."
"Uh, what, honey, I wasn't listening...I'm thinking of my Jackie."
"Oh yeah, why?"
"I know that he was upset last night about Will and I told him to tell Will what's in his heart. I hope that they settle things," said Karen.
Grace pulled up a stool and sat next to Karen. Grace asked, "You really love him, don't you?"
"Oh honey, yeah," said Karen.
"I'm happy for you, Kare. You deserve to be as happy as possible."
"Hey Grace, I have a question for you...Now I know that sometimes we don't get along and I know that you sometimes question why you hire me..." said Karen.
"I know why I hired you...Your connections keep my business afloat!"
"Anyhoo, what I'm trying to ask you is if you would consider being my maid of honor."
"You're kidding right?" joked Grace.
"Actually, honey I'm not. I would ask someone else, but right now Mrs. Hillary Clinton is kind of busy with her brother and some kind of charges...I don't know? What do you think?"
"I would be so happy to be your maid of honor. Thanks Karen!" said Grace, as she got up to give her "assistance" a hug.
"Oh, that great honey, now I'm certain to have all eyes on me."
"Do'h," said Grace, kicking herself in the butt because she should had known that an insult was coming. After Grace regained her dignity she got up from the stool and her eyes fell on something that looked out of place on Karen's desk. She picked it up and exclaimed, "Oh, thank God, I didn't want to draw those designs again."
Karen said, "What's going on? Why all the screaming? They were there all the time, Grace."
All Grace could do at this point was pretend that she didn't hear what Karen said and walked back to her desk.
"I'm taking a early lunch today...Right now..." said Karen.
"But Karen it's nine o'clock...You know what, never mind! Go and take the rest of the day off."
"You're the boss!" said Karen. She noisily collected all of her bottles and was humming some Cher song. Just as she got to the door she stopped, turned around, and said, "Hey, Grace, thanks." And with that Karen walked out the door.
When Karen got back to her penthouse, Jack was in the kitchen making himself a sandwich. When he saw Karen walk into the room, he said, "Hi honey, how was your day?"
"Not bad, I asked Grace to be my maid of honor. How did you do with Will?"
"Terrific...He finally understands that I truly, madly, deeply love you. I asked him for his blessing and also if would be my best man and he said that he would be honored to..." said Jack.
Almost on cue, Jack and Karen jumped up and down and then hugged each other tightly.
"That's great, poodle! I want to have a little conversation with you. Come sit down."
"What wrong, why you lookin' at me funny," asked Jack.
"Nothing wrong! We just have some stuff to talk about. You know how I used to tell you that Stan had all the money in the family. Well that's partially right, he has his money, which he's, going to give a third of his money to charity...Homeless women...Sally Struthers. What he doesn't know and you are the only other person who knows this, but back in the day when I made that video, 'Next to Godliness', I made a couple million dollars from just agreeing to be in the video. And at the end of the project I was promised another million. So right now in a bank in Paris, there's three million dollars. All I have to do is call over there and tell them to transfer the money over to the Bank of New York."
"Kare, you know that money doesn't m-a-t-t...You're serious?" asked Jack.
"Yup," replied Karen.
"Wow, that's great. You know what this means..." said Jack.
"No, what?" answered Karen.
"You are going to be the most beautiful bride there is!" answered Jack.
"You're sweet."
"Next issue on the list. I want to hear your opinion on this, I want to get married before we have our child. By that I mean that I want to be Mrs. Jack McFarland as soon as possible. What do you think?" asked Karen.
"You are a 110% correct...We should get marry soon. How do you feel about eloping?"
"I'm up for it, but I don't know what Will & Grace will say about it," said Karen.
"Well my thoughts were to elope tomorrow and then have an official wedding, wedding dress and everything after little Sean or Megan arrives," said Jack with a very serious look on his face.
"That works for me!" yelled Karen, with the biggest smile that she could make.
"Well, okay then, let's pack our bags," said Jack.
"I'm going to call Will at the office, and tell him our plans and if they want to come they should pack their bags and be ready by five o'clock and the limo will pick them up," said Karen.
"Okay, I'll start to pack and I'll use the other phone to make reservations for two rooms in Vegas. One for them, the other for us. Before we go to do what we need to, can I have a kiss?" asked Jack.
Karen walked up to Jack very slowly and very seductively, threw her arms around him and planted a kiss on him that last for ten minutes. When they came up for air Karen said, "I'm going to enjoy being your wife."
"And I'm going to enjoy being your husband. Let's go get married, what do you say?" asked Jack.
"Can't wait." replied Karen.
A minute later, Karen was on the phone dialing Will's office number. A rather chipper Will answered the phone, with "Hello, Will Truman..."
"Hi Willma, it's Karen. Listen change of plans..."
"Oh God what did you do to Jack..." asked Will.
"Oh, hold on there...I'm calling to tell you that Jack and I have decided to elope tomorrow in Vegas. Do you and Grace want to come?"
"You're eloping?" asked Will.
"Yes, sir, are you coming?" asked Karen.
"Of course we are," answered Will.
"Terrific...Can you be ready by five o'clock? I'll have the limo sent to your apartment. Jack is making the reservations in Vegas. Listen, gotta run, and see you at five. Bye Willma," said Karen in without taking a breath.
Will could hear her take a breath on the other side of the phone.
"Ok, Karen, we'll be ready for five. See ya later," said Will.
At the apartment, Grace was just about to sit down in front of the television with a pudding pack and watch her favorite show, "Ned & Stacey", when Will burst into the room yelling, "Put that pudding pack down, and pack a bag."
"Whoa, wait a minute. Take a breath there pal...Why do I have to pack?" asked Grace.
"Because we are invited to see Jack and Karen elope tomorrow...We'll make a weekend out of the event. Jack made reservations for a hotel in Vegas. We're going to have to share a room, and they have their "Honeymoon suite."
"Did you say Vegas..."
"Vegas, baby, Vegas!" Will said, in a manly voice.
"I'll be ready in ten minutes," replied Grace.
"Karen is sending the car for us by five," stated Will.
"What time is it now?" asked Grace.
"Four-fifteen," said Will.
"Oh, good, I have time," said Grace. She ran and grabbed her pudding pack.
She ripped off the cover and started to devour it without even swallowing.
"This is so good," exclaimed Grace.
"Hey, animal, slow down. You know what the consequences of you shoveling that stuff into your mouth...You will choke, and I'll just laugh at you," said Will.
Grace shot her best friend a ‘you hurt my feelings' look. So Will said, "I'm sorry, but you were asking for it."
"Ok, I'm done. Now I'll pack," said Grace.
In a matter of fifteen minutes, "Chauffeur" pulled up in front of the apartment. As Will and Grace got in, Jack and Karen attacked them. They hugged both of them tightly.
"Hey, Little Buddy...How does it feel to be a married man in a few short hours?" asked Will. "I can't wait," replied Jack.
"Hi Karen, I see you're enjoying yourself," said Grace because she saw Karen with her favorite drink, a bloody Mary.
"I don't want to have to point out the obvious, but in this case I think that it's necessary. Karen, you do know that you're going to have to give up the drinks and pills for a while for your baby, right?" asked Grace.
"DUH, Grace I know. In fact, I'm planning on stopping right after we get married. My poodle is going to help me, right honey?"
"Yes, Sweetheart," replied Jack.
The rest of the ride to Newark Airport was spent in quiet unless you account for the humming by the group of Cher's song, "If I Could Turn Back TiOhme."
And before any one of the four people knew it, they were at the airport. The wait for plane tickets wasn't that long considering that it was a Thursday night at six at night. Most normal people were at home having dinner, getting ready to watch "Must See TV." But alas, Jack and Karen are not normal. Jack was hopping up and down like a child who is getting ready to go to Disney World and Karen had a new bloody Mary in her hands. Karen purchased the tickets, and Will protested, but of course, he lost. No one comes between Karen and an idea of hers.
They boarded the plane and were off in a matter of five minutes. When the plane was safely in the air, Jack asked, "Kare, do you think they'll let me see the cockpit?"
"Honey, why?" asked Karen.
"‘Cause, I just like saying that word, cockpit," replied Jack.
"Oh, I guess so...Have fun!" said Karen, with a smile.
At the same time a cute steward passed by Will who said, "I want to join the mile high club, and I want him to register me!" exclaimed Will.
"What's that?" asked Grace.
"You're kidding...Please tell me you're kidding," said Will, shocked.
"I'm kidding, Will," said Grace.
"Oh, thank God," sighed Will.
"Hey, Will, do you have the rings..." asked Grace.
"Yeah, they don't know it, but I am giving them the rings that my mother gave to me before I came out. I think that she would be happy to know that they are being put to good use."
"Wow, that's very thoughtful," Grace said.
"I know," said Will, with his cute smile.
A couple of hours later, the fabulous four were in Las Vegas. When they left the plane Karen ordered a limo to come pick them up and take them to the hotel. While riding in the car, Grace had the top part of her body out of the roof opening, looking and yelling at all the attractions that she saw, very tourist-y like. Will finally pulled her down and said, "Please stop." Grace gave him a sad look, and then peered out of the window.
In five minutes they arrived at the hotel and Karen said, "Everybody out...I have to pee!"
"Oh, that's very attractive, Karen," said Grace.
"Shut up. You're not pregnant!" shot back Karen.
"Sorry," whimpered Grace.
They all filed out of the limo and looked in awe at their surroundings. They entered the hotel and saw that there was a strip club and room full of slot machines.
"I'm in Heaven," Will sang.
"I'm going to get the rooms," said Jack.
"I'm going to follow Karen just to make sure she's okay," said Grace.
"Good," said a distracted Will.
"O-K-A-Y," said Grace, as she walked away.
Will's eyes were lit with excitement. He must have looked at every hot guy that was there, and then his eyes fell upon a tall, muscular, blonde guy.
"YUM, YUM, GIMME SOME!" said Will.
All of the sudden the guy made eye contact with Will and Will quickly looked away. Much to Will's sheer excitement, the guy walked over to Will and said, "Uh, hi, I thought that we just shared a moment there...What do you think?"
"Yes, we did, I'm Will..."
"I'm Hans."
"Yes, of course you are," answered Will.
"How long are you going to be in Vegas," asked Hans.
"Just 'til Sunday night. I'm here to see my best friend get married to his love."
"Maybe we could see a show or get dinner?"
"Sure," said Will.
"Great, here's my number," said Hans.
"Thanks, see you around," answered Will.
As Hans was walking away, Grace and Karen walked up to Will and Karen asked, "Who's the beefcake...or should I say 'Fruitcake'?"
"Oh, nobody in particular. Listen, let's find Jack."
"You'll tell me later, right?" asked Grace, in a whisper.
"Of course," said Will.
They found Jack by the Concierge Desk with two keys. "Let's go to the rooms and unpack."
"I think that's a brilliant idea," said Grace.
Their rooms were on the tenth floor of a fifteen floor hotel, so they had a pretty good view. Jack and Karen got the room that had two mini bars, for Karen. Will and Grace got the room that had the bubble bathtub. Karen thought that it was a fair deal.
Once they got unpack Jack flung himself onto the bed and yelled, "Jack very happy!" Then all of the sudden Jack shot up and ran out of the room like a bolt of lightning.
"What' s wrong?" asked Karen.
"I have to talk to Will...I'll be back," said Jack.
A minute later, Jack pounded his fist on the adjoining room.
"Hold on, I'm coming," yelled Grace. "Hi, Jack, come in."
"Will...I forgot something important. Help!" exclaimed Jack.
"Slow down, Tinkerbell. What's wrong?" asked Will.
"I forgot to get her the wedding ring," Jack said as he was gasping.
"No you didn't..." said Will.
"Oh good. Hey. Wait a minute...Jack confused!"
"Here, Dorothy," Will said, as he threw Jack a little black box. Jack didn't catch the flying box because he was never good at catching. He bent over and pick it.
"Sarah Michelle Gellar, what did you do?" asked Jack.
"Don't get your panties in a twist. It's a gift from my mother before I came out. She had given me those for when I got married. I just thought that you could use them."
In the background, you could hear Grace yelled, "That was supposed to be mine, so don't lose them!"
"Thank you, Will, I really appreciate it. I was going to go, but then we decided to elope. There was no time!" Jack screamed like a monkey.
"You ready to get married?" asked Will.
"Yes, let's do it right now. Are you ready Grace?" asked Jack.
"Yup, I'm ready. Go get your bride!"
With that Jack ran out of the room and into his room, where he found the most beautiful woman he had ever seen in a black dress. The dress was long and it had major cleavage. Jack ran up to Karen and picked her up into his arms and exited the room with Karen just staring at Jack like he was a nutcase.
When she saw Will and Grace standing outside the door she said, "Ah, Poodle, what's going on?"
"You'll see," teased Jack.
When they got to the elevator, Jack said to Will, "Could you push the button, please?"
"Of course, sir, it'll be my pleasure."
"Oh, Grace, what's happening...what's going on," questioned Karen.
"I can't tell you. It's a surprise."
When they finally got to the first floor, they all got off of the elevator and followed Jack to the room where they were doing wedding ceremonies. Little did any of them know, but Jack had asked when he called for the reservations, that there be red and white roses everywhere in the room. He also asked for a priest and not an Elvis impersonator. So when Jack carried Karen into the room, he could see her face light up with excitement and love.
"Oh, my God, who did this?" asked Karen.
"I did, my Sweetheart!" said Jack.
"It's beautiful!" exclaimed Karen.
"Yeah, Jack, you out did yourself," said Grace.
Jack was just about to thank her for the compliment when the priest approached them with the widest smile that all four of them ever saw in their lives. The priest saw Jack carrying Karen so he said, "You must be Jack and Karen."
"Yes we are," both said in unison.
"Are you ready to begin?" asked the priest.
They nodded and then followed the priest to the front of the room where was a big cut-out picture of a heart that read, "Jack and Karen, Forever!"
With a smile the priest started, "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate the love of two people who have been friends for years, Karen Delaney-Walker, and Jack McFarland. You know I always say that if two people can find love they should on to it with both hands and never let go. These two people have found that kind of love and so I hope with all of my heart that they never let that love go. And now I understand that Jack has prepared a little something for you, Karen." The priest motioned to Jack to begin. Taking a deep breath, Jack said, "Karen, I have loved you from the first day that I met you, in Grace's office. I always wanted to tell you that, but I hide my feelings from you because you were in a relationship. The past few months have been a dream to me because I would have never imagined that we would fall deeply in love and get married. I love you and I'll give you have my heart and soul. I'll never leave you. You are truly the person that I have waited for thirty years of my life. I just want to say thank you for making me the happiest man alive by marrying me."
As she heard the his last sentence, Karen looked at the priest, and asked, "Oh, Honey, can I go next?"
"Of course," answered the priest.
"Ok, Jack, you know that I said that I will love you forever, well, that's an understatement. I plan on loving you for eternity. I never knew that you loved me when we met at Grace's office. I'm glad that I know now. I am going love being your wife and the mother to your children. You are all that I've ever wanted. You are truly my best friend. How many people can say that, 'I'm married to my best friend'? Not many, that's for sure. Jack, I love you yesterday, today, and of course, tomorrow!"
After she finished the whole group could hear Grace sobbing like a little girl. Will got his handkerchief out of his pocket and handed it to his best friend. She took it and blew her nose into it so that she knew that she could keep it.
The priest said, "Now that Jack and Karen have expressed their feelings for each other, it's time for the rings." Jack looked at Will, who handed him Karen's ring.
"Okay, Jack, place this ring on Karen's ring finger and repeat after me...Karen, with this ring I thee wed...,"
"With this ring I thee wed...," repeated Jack.
"I promise to be faithful, loyal, and trustworthy to you...," said the priest.
"I promise to be faithful, loyal, and trustworthy to you," said Jack.
"For the rest of my life!" said the priest.
As Jack said the last fragment, he looked into Karen's beautiful hazel eyes and smiled with tears falling down his face.
"Okay, Karen, you're next," said the priest. Karen looked at Grace and she handed her Jack's ring.
"Jack, with this ring I thee wed...," started the priest.
"Jack, with this ring I thee wed...," repeated Karen.
"I promise to be faithful, loyal, and trustworthy to you...," said the priest.
"I promise to be faithful, loyal, and trustworthy to you...," repeated Karen.
"For the rest of my life!" yelled the priest.
"For the rest of my life!" stated Karen. As she placed the ring on jack's ring finger, she saw that Jack was truly nervous. After she placed the ring on his finger, she took his hands and squeezed them tightly.
They almost didn't hear the priest announce, "I give you Mr. and Mrs. Jack McFarland. You may kiss your bride!"
Jack took Karen's face into his hands and they kissed passionately. They could hear the yells of Will and Grace, who hugged each other. Even the priest looked like he had a tear in his eye. When they were finished kissing, they ran over to give their friends a hug. As Will hugged Jack, he said, "I'm so proud of you."
And as Karen hugged Grace, Karen said, "I love you and thanks for bringing two people together. I'll never forget you for this!"
Grace was stunned, but she managed to say, "Thank you, Karen. I love you too!"
They went out on the town to celebrate. They went to the fanciest of restaurants and Will paid for this one. When we got their drinks, Will stood up to say, "Ok, I want to make a toast...To my friends, Jack, and Karen, I wish for you a lifetime of happiness. Karen, now that you've married Jack, you're honorary member of my family. I want to say to you that we are very glad to have you!"
Now it Grace's turn: "Okay, my turn. Karen, you are like the mother I'll never have and never want to have. I don't want to have you as a mother because you're better at being a good friend. You always have a place at work and in my heart. I love you!"
With that Karen walked around to the other side of the table and gave Grace a surprised hug.
The rest of the weekend was spent pretty much separately. Will and Grace got out to look around Las Vegas and bought a lot of stuff that they'd have no room for in their apartments. Jack and Karen spent most of their weekend in their hotel room, talking about what had happened thus far and what was going to happen. They both decided that if they were together, they could accomplish anything. They talked about their baby and how they were going to raise it.
They both decided to spoil the baby because that's how their life would be spent, by spoiling each other. They spent the last night making love. They didn't stop until they heard Will pounded on the door to signal that they should get up and pack.
They spent the whole airplane ride hand in hand. They spent the limo ride from Newark Airport to NYC hand in hand. They also kept looking at each other, which made Grace kind of jealous because they had what she wanted. When Will and Grace got back to the apartment, Grace asked if they could talk.
"What's up?" asked Will.
"Do you ever think that we'll have what Jack and Karen have?"
"I sure hope so...I know what you're saying. I want you to know that I tried to get over my problem many years ago. I know that you think that that wedding should have been ours, but Grace, if I knew that I could marry you and not have feelings for men, I would, but I can't. I'm sorry, but I know that there's someone out there for you...and for me," said Will.
"Thanks, that makes me feel better. I love you!" said Grace.
"I love you too," replied Will.
