Fiction Writer's Connection 1999.This site offers many resources and activities, as well as sales, for writers trying to develop their creativity. There are articles available and interactive novels. This site was early on in my Infoseek search.
4. Crayne, Victory
Career Plan for Fiction WritersThis article talks about how to write better and gives suggestions on how to get published. I was not able to check her credentials, but she seems to have good advice. Her home page is athttp://www.crayne.com/ This page was ranked number 40 on my Excite search.

grammarNOW Mar 4, 1999.A very good site with the opportunity to ask questions of the author and get editing feedback. The author won several awards for her site. This site came back from my Excite search.

Fairness and Accuracy In Reporting Mar 3, 1998.This site is useful because having media watchdogs can be a very good thing. This page was ranked #24 on my Excite search.

Farmers AlmanacCovers such things as astronomy, tides, climate, weather, moon phases, etc.

The Market List, A Resource for WritersThis web page lists publishers for the genres of science fiction, fantasy and horror. This page seems to be independently compiled. It was ranked 18 on my Excite search. It was pretty informative.

How to Write a Publishable Novel not dated.This article gives a basic introduction to the elements of a story or novel. She has written 11 novels and 4 short stories. The web site has other information on things like agents,etc. It was ranked #2 on my Excite search
10. Modern Language Association
MLA online 1999.The MLA is considered to be one of the foremost authorities on style for the English language. It was #36 in my Excite search.
11. Nobles, Robin Robin's Nest
1998.This site is entertaining and informative. It has won several awards . Robin Nobles teaches a workshop on how writers can use the internet and writes monthly articles on websites and technology. It ranked 10 on my Infoseek search.
12. Ohi, Debbie Ridpath
Inkspot the Writer's Resource Mar 3, 1999.This is a very good, open resource. The information is accurate and free. It was ranked #1 of my reviewed Excite search results.
13. O'Mahoney, Benedict
The Copyright Website 1998This website talks about copyright issues (especially concerning the web). The author has a good working knowledge of law and business. This page was ranked #4 on my Infoseek search.

Elements of Style 1918.This book is a well known and established writer's resources. It was ranked #2 on my Infoseek search.
