Back to Main

On this page you can find details to all the Mods for Allegiance that I have managed to find and include on this CD. New ones are being created all the time, however - especially the hi-res textures.
To install a mod, go into the appropriate folder in Screw the Readme/Mods and either run the .exe program, or if no .exe installer is available (which is the vast majority of the case), manually copy the files to your Allegiance/artwork directory.

Texture Mods
NOTE - Presumably when the Artwork team finishes retexturing everything in the game then the
Development team will include all these 'mods' to be included in the default installation.

Sound Mods

Teamspeak
I strongly reccomend you install this program
Teamspeak is a program that runs in the background, independant of Allegiance. It allows pilots to communicate more quickly and more efficently than typing in the chat window. Even if you don't have a microphone it is useful to listen in, to learn your Commander's strategy or just listen to the current gossip.

The server which most Allegiance player's use is ts.dras.us
Using this program is one of the quickest ways to learn how to play Allegiance well.

juckto's sound mod
Overwrites some of the more annoying and repetitive sound effects with 'mute'.

TigerEye's Chatpack
Includes new Voice Chats and changes the menu leyout to be more intuitive.
