Clutch games are win/loss records in elimination games either for or against the team. For example, the Carolina Hurricanes in 2002 were 3-2 (wins over New Jersey, Montreal, lost Game 5 against Toronto but clinched the series the next night, and lost the series against Detroit, making them 3-2 for the playoffs).
