Objectives:   Today the students will learn about the migration of whales.
                    The students will start to chart the migration of the whales.
 

Materials:      Computer I'm 4 Kidz web-site.  Real- Time Data, A map to plot movment.
 

Procedures:   The students will go to "Whale Net."  At this site the students will use real-time
                     data  to start to bcome
                     familiar with the migration  of the Humpback Whale.  They will use the globe and
                     a map to follow the migration. The students will chart on a map the migration of
                     the  whales for three days.
 

Closure:        The students will work in cooperative groups of two.  Tomorrow,  we will continue
                     the following of the whales and collect more data.
