Perth - My Thoughts
Trip to: Perth, Western Australia
When: 2007
Initially, I was sick when I flew to Perth with my family, but soon, I was on the road to recovery, luckily so.
If you read my blog entry
here, you will know some stuff about my trip already.
Well, it was enjoyably enjoyable, and I loved riding in the car. Yeah, I know, that's kinda extreme. I mean, who loves sitting in a car for long, stretching hours? I do. I love to snooze in the car when it's moving too, so I was really looking forward to the cool car rides. And yes, I wasn't disappointed. All in all, we travelled
2501 km. That is more than 24 hours of riding in a car, as we didn't always go at 100 km/h. It depends on the speed limit, obviously.
We saw great beaches, with the nice, cooling and clear waters, along with the awesome "ocean sound", as my dad calls it. We saw cool forests, with some parts even burnt. We also saw smoke. T___T Ok, fine, so that's not good, but well... So the sight-seeing rocked! =D
The motel-hunting was ok, and
Clear Water Motel Apartments had a cool Plasma TV screen and the works. Dunsborough Motel (Best Western) - we got a fab spa suite and spa-ed our way to spa-dom. Haha. XD I spa-ed too much and ended up red and tired.
The only awful thing was the flies. They were EXTREMELY irritating and I was always screaming and ducking. If you haven't noticed, I don't exactly welcome flies warmly. In fact, I H-A-T-E them. Seriously. And I had to kill lots, because they got into my car. Ewww sick.
Well, all in all, the pros override the cons and I had a lovely time with my family. Yay, hugggs. XD
