Man Tin Chi is an intelligent guy with a high post in his company, and he is extremely talented in price comparison. He is happily and blissfully enjoying life and hoping for an early retirement when the eight-year-old son he never knew he had makes a sudden entrance into his life, effectively dashing his hopes and leaving him at a loss of what to do. Luckily, Kam Mei Tsun, his colleague, is good at handling children and she teaches him what to do.
Meanwhile, Tin Chi coincidentally runs into his godfather, Ko Chi Tim, and they reunite. Ko Chi Tim's son, Wong Hei, is still angry with Chi Tim for not being there when his mum died. He has a daughter named Pui Pui, whom he loves dearly. He is an expert at children. However, his wife is having an affair and she divorces with him.
Wong Hei meets Law Sz Hei AKA Joey, and after a few misunderstandings being resolved, they start to have feelings for one another and eventually start to date.
Kam Mei Tsun breaks up with her long-time boyfriend whom was cheating on her, and things get complicated as her ex-boyfriend's father is actually Man Tin Chi's illegitimate father! Man Tin Chi's father's family hates him for being the "third party", and when the father dies, things get ugly when Man Tin Chi inherits the Mui Kee company, and promises his dad before he passed away that he would keep it going as it was a sign of his dad's love to his mom. "Mui Kee" is his mother's nickname.
Kam Mei Tsun and Tin Chi get together, and Tin Chi tries to revive the company, but Mei Tsun's ex-boyfriend stands in their way and tries to ruin their plans. Can it succeed? And will Wong Hei's life get any better?
