Non Fiction: The Autobiography of Malcolm X, Malcolm X & Alex Haley

         Films: Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, A Man for All Seasons, Rosencrantz  and   Guildenstern are Dead, Pulp Fiction, Malcolm X.

CLARIFICATION

Term Work will include in-class assignments and tests and assigned writing which will be completed out of class. The main focus will be on the scholarly essay and the writing folder. In addition, there will be assignments as set out in the AP requirements for English Language and Literature

ISU first term will involve a class presentation and a written report of 750-1000 words; second term will be comprised of an oral class presentation and a written report of 750-1000 words. Both ISU assignments will involve research and the student may include a poster in either or both of the projects.

Comprehensive Final Exam three hours long.

Students in this course will be instructed for the Advanced Placement English Language and Literature exam which will be written Monday, May 6 in the morning.
