Katherine is JC's child, and has inherited more than the piercing blue eyes and beautiful brown hair. She has the voice, and the voice she uses. She's super close with her dad, has been ever since before her mother walked out on them when she was six. Just picked up and left. Raised on the bubblegum pop of the nineties and early 2000's, she lives in the high school world where trash metal and punk rock rule. Few have taken the taking on of trying to bring back the style that ruled at the beginning of the century. Meeting with her manager Tim, and a couple people along the way, she rises to fame and is ready to rise and meet any challenge that comes upon her.
Katherine tends to be loud and opinionated, but manages to stay just this side of obnoxious or bossy. And her wry sense of humor keeps things light, almost no matter what the situation is.
He may be a little older than he was, but has not lost his zest for life. He is super close to his daughter, has been ever since his wife left when Katherine was six years old. He raised Katherine well, and there's no doubt about that!
Katherine's choice of career was a little difficult for him, as the music business holds many happy and hard memories for him. But he is always ready to lend his ear or advice to Katherine, and with his "Been there, done that, wrote the pamphlet for it" attitude, he is Katherine's main source of wisdom.
Tim Holmes is the head of a managment company based in a town about an hour away from Orlando. He's fairly young, only 28 years old. Between Katherine's rising career, his wife and unborn child, he has a semi-stressful life. He wouldn't change it for anything though, because he loves both. Katherine has to keep him in check with his work, however, because he tends to be a bit of a workaholic.
He loves managing Katherine, and loves to see the look on her face when he tells her exciting news or something good pertaining to her career (i.e., Melissa and Jessica becoming her permanent dancers, etc).
Brian Spears, son of the pop princess Britney, is in essence, Justin Timberlake all over. Youngest in a boyband, More Plz, and smitten with the pop princess. He's in high desire among all teenagers interested in the pop scene, but it also dealing with the same things that Katherine is, in the sense that they're in the same business.
He also grew up without one parent. In his case, his father. His father was killed in a car accident when he was twelve. Britney also seemed to do a decent job with Brian, at least Katherine has no objections. *wink wink*
This is the rest of Brian Spears's boyband, More Plz. They're as close as brothers, and often end up giving Brian a hard time about Katherine. To which they merely smile and laugh.
Michael is the one in the top left hand corner. He's quite serious, and is the "daddy" of the group.
Shane is a writer, kind of shy, but loves to laugh and smile and make other people smile.
Kevin is the comedien. He makes you smile just by walking into a room. Sweet, funny person, but can be a bit too playful sometimes. Also quite the dancer.
Brody is the musician. He can learn to play an intrument in half an hour. And if you name it, he plays it.
Morgan is the mother that Katherine never had. Whenever Katherine needs some motherly attention or comfort or advice that no matter how much she loves her father, he cannot give, Morgan is the person to ask.
Morgan is married to Justin (obviously) and has two daughters, Rachel and Jessica. But this never kept her from her job, stylist and costume designer for the music industry. She has also worked in the movie industry, but she likes the music industry better because that's where her heart is.
She's been part of Katherine's life for a long time, and will probably be a part of it for a long time.
Jessica is fifteen years old, and already she has her feet into the music business, she has since she was a small child. A god given talent for dance, put Jessica in a pair of dance shoes and she'll dance like there's no tomorrow. Jessica has been one of Katherine's best friends all her life, and stands behind her. She was one of the first ones to know about Katherine's choice of career, and helped her re-learn to dance.
Jessica was a little scared to sign the contract that would make her a permanent backup dancer for Katherine, but she knows that she did the right thing. And with her sixteen birthday not far around the corner, she's ready for the time of her life.
Jessica has an infectitious personality, but sometimes ruins her sunny disposition with a little bit of bad attitude. And she's not a morning person.
Melissa dove in with both feet to being a backup dancer for Katherine. She knew she was going to love doing it, and she knew that she wouldn't regret it.
Melissa is Katherine's cousin (Heather's daughter), but the two are more like sisters than anyting else. Melissa is only one year younger than Katherine, and is all about seizing the day and living for the moment.
Rachel, only ten years old, is Morgan and Justin's youngest daughter, and Jessica's younger sister. She's an aspiring actress, who gets her big chance in Katherine's video The Little Girl. She was in a cell phone commercial once, but it never really amounted to anything. But Rachel adores Katherine, who now has her room plastered with pictures and articles of her.
Rachel also dances like her sister, although folornly admits that she's not quite as good.
Britney has raised one son, Brian. She, too, was reluctant about Brian entering the music business, but stood behind him one hundred percent. She's a good mother to him, and after his father was killed in a car accident, she reverted back to her maiden name, and Brian also took it. She hasn't lost her sense of humor either. "Your daughter and my son," she said to JC once in between laughs. "Who would have guessed?"
Katherine, as much as she hates to see it, knows that there are many similarities between herself and Britney, as far as the rumors and stuff like that that surroudnds them. When Britney becomes a "tour mother", they get to talk a little bit more and know each other a little bit better.
Mindy is a make up artist/hair stylist. She's also the best at what she does, and in high demand. She's a good friend of Morgans, and soon becomes a good friend of Katherine also. She has a sense of humor as dry as the Sahara desert, but that's not always a bad thing.
Amanda is a quiet, serious type of person, almost the exact opposite of Katherine, and definitely the opposite of her twin, Alex. But despite their many differences, Amanda and Katherine become good friends with Katherine.
Amanda grew up with her twin Alex, two younger sisters and a younger brother, and her parents. (Jessica and Nick. Dur!!!)
Alex is the exact opposite of Amanda: loud and happy-go-lucky. This makes the duo's show interesting, but can almost go to the point of ticking his twin off. But they always make amends and make up. He also gives a lot of advice to Brian on tour, as Brian gets rather confused (about girls, particularly Katherine) a lot.
Alex grew up with his fraternal twin Amanda, two younger sisters, and a younger brother (who idolizes him), and his parents. (Nick and Jessica. Jeez people!)
