Erin Braack Erin is a quiet soul. She's 23, and has seen so much. She has a passion for the violin like JC has a passion for singing. And she does it well too. You know the type: quiet, studious, nice, shy. All of the above. Even though she is JC's girlfriend, and they live together, she chooses not to have a public life with him, due to her quiet and shy nature. Erin is one that would rather not have a camera shoved in her face or questions directed at her. In Silent Strings, Erin is faced with a situation that she hasn't come upon before. She is raped, and loses her sense of able to be happiness (?). A talk with JC covers all the bases, and she is renewed. |
JC Chasez JC loves Erin. Obviously, I mean, he shows it in pretty much every way possible. Her rape effected him as much as it did her. But by sticking by her side, they made it through. Yay! Sweet guy, no? JC wishes that Erin would open up a little bit more, and get over her shyness. He's invited her numerous places and shows before, but she's always replied with a shy, "Well...I don't know...I'll think about it," and she doesn't go. When he invited her on tour for a few weeks during the summer, he was thrilled. But he also understands that she feels out of place in the spotlight without her violin, and respects that. Aww! |

Erika Braack Erika is Erin's younger sister, and the exact opposite. You know the type. There was one in your high school: pretty, popular, outspoken, sweet, went to the prom as a freshman, etc. She's a party girl, at least "like, three every weekend," as she confesses to JC in the hospital waiting room. And her sister's rape shakes her up pretty bad. She doesn't party like she used to, not really, and she doesn't find jokes like that funny. Her point of view has changed, and now it's her goal to change the points of view around her. Even though her and her sister are exact opposites, they're closer than they seem at first glance. |
