Mackenzie Kate is Justin's best friend. His second soul. They share a teacher on tour and around the country (and around the world), who happens to be Mackenzie's mother. They have crazy adventures together, and learn lessons that cannot be learned out of textbooks.
Mackenzie is a Christian through and through, but of course she has her faults and is only human. She can be a little loud, and rough around the edges, but she has a good heart, and is a very open and forgiving person. Sensitive and compassionate, she can have a bit of temper. And she's not really sure what she wants to do with herself once she graduates from high school. But Justin will stand by her side no matter what.

Justin Randall Timberlake
As a guy, Justin has his stupid days. But that's okay, because he has Mackenzie to cover him. That's the way that his life goes. It's just the other way around also. If Mackenzie has a stupid day, Justin will cover her. He has a special spot in his heart for Mackenzie, where she will always stay.
He likes Mackenzie, but since they are best friends, he's not about to admit that. Mackenzie is like his other half. What can you say? He's a clueless guy.

Britney Spears
Britney comes on the "Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now" tour as an opening act, and becomes friends with Mackenzie, to everyone elses amazement. Everyone thought that Britney and Mackenzie would be clawing each other's eyes out, because of each of their histories with Justin. But no.
Britney is a good gal in this story. She's a confident persona, and adds spice to tour life. She causes Mackenzie to doubt herself in her friendship with Justin, as they seem to be the exact opposites. But Britney is a true friend, and does the right thing. Always. Even when it hurts her.
