"I know that this is so sudden... but I want you to know that what I say is totally the truth," Justin said as he sighed. Here goes nothing, he thought to himself as he took a deep breath.

"I have loved you for as long as I can remember. We have experienced good and bad times together, yes, I know, but I want things to work out between us. We have had many arguments, and have broken up many times, but I want to put those things behind us, and look at the future we can have together." Justin took a deep breath, again, as he prepared himself for the big question. He lowered himself to the floor, and got down on one knee.

"Will you marry me?"

JC raised an eyebrow, and bit his lip to keep from laughing. "Of course I will, Justin... I didn't know you felt that way about me," he joked as he burst out into a wild laughter.

"Stop that, Chasez," Justin frowned. "I knew this was a bad idea," he complained as he sat back into his chair.

"Nonono, Justin, don't. I'm sorry," JC managed to apologize between laughs. "It's just that you sound like you're proposing to me, that's all..." he started laughing uncontrollably all over again.

"I'm serious, Jace. I want this speech perfected for her," Justin said solemnly.

JC looked at his younger friends face. He has never been so serious before... he must really like this girl, JC thought as he calmed down and tried to keep a straight face. "That was beautiful, man. Just beautiful. Cut it a little short though, it was getting a bit cheesy," JC advised as he bit his tongue to keep from laughing again.

"Are you sure?" Justin asked uneasily.

JC sighed... that boy was never satisfied. "You know what?? Just go with the moment. Go invite her to some place special and meaningful, and then say what you feel in your heart. If it was meant to be, it'll be. I promise," JC said as he gave his friend a comforting pat on the back.

"I hope so. I love her. I've never felt this way about anyone before... I want everything to be perfect."

"Don't worry, Curly. Everything will turn out fine. Remember, if it was meant to happen, it'll happen. Que sera sera..."

Justin smiled. Maybe everything will be all right after all.

Justin sat in a booth of the Starbucks, alone. The Starbucks was his first choice, naturally, because it was the first place that they kissed. He sighed as he glanced at his watch nervously: it was 4:59 pm... one more minute to go. He had arranged to meet his girlfriend at 5:00pm, and she was rarely late.

And there she was, walking through the doors of the coffee shop, right on time. Justin smiled as he took notice of her outfit, beautifully chosen. She was dressed in white capris and was sporting a baby blue halter-top. My favorite color, Justin noticed as he waved to her. Her medium length blonde hair was casually left flowing over her shoulders, and her big chocolate eyes were hidden behind a pair of lilac hued sunglasses.

She gave him a friendly smile as she made her way over to Justin. She looks breathtaking, Justin noted as she took a seat across from him.

"Glad you can make it," Justin smiled as he leaned over to give his girlfriend a kiss.

"I'm glad too," she replied as she returned his kiss. "I missed you."

"I missed you too," Justin said. Now or never, Timberlake, he thought to himself as he took a deep breath. "Listen, I have something really important to say."

She folded her hands together, and smiled. "I'm all ears," she said as she took off her sunglasses to give her full attention to her boyfriend.

"I want you to know that we have been together for... what... practically our whole lives," Justin started. He hesitated as he searched his mind for the correct words. "And, through all the good and the bad times we've had together, I want you to know that I have stood by you, always."

His girlfriend looked at him curiously. "Yes, I know that you've always stood by me. And I will always stand by you."

"Then, I want you to know that for all the times we will spend together in the future, I will always be there for you and give you all my love." Justin reached for his coat pocket, and pulled out a tiny, velvet box. He looked deep into her sparkling eyes, to search for her reaction.

"I want us to be together, always and forever," Justin continued as he slowly opened the box to reveal an elegant diamond ring.

She gasped, and for a while, she just stared at the amazing diamond, glistening beautifully in the lights of the restaurant. "Justin... oh my god... it's beautiful..." she managed to stutter out. "This is for..." she started, but hesitated to finish her sentence.

"It's for you."

Her eyes widened and dropped her jaw, surprised. "Justin..." she said. She couldn't believe it, she was speechless. She turned her attention away from the ring and back to her boyfriend. She couldn't believe this was happening. Justin gave her the sweetest smile, and stood up from his seat. He took a step towards her, and slowly lowered himself down on one knee. He looked deep into her beautiful eyes and took her hand in his own.

"Britney Jean Spears... will you marry me?"

A tear formed in her eyes as she felt a lump in her throat. "Justin... I do. Yes... yes, I will marry you... I love you," she managed to say between the tears of happiness.
