the seattle sea otters
Ah, yes, the Seattle sea otters, residents at the Seattle Aquarium...these little guys were the ones who got me into this mess. Hours and hours of simply observing them taught me most of what I know about otters, and started this whole otter-business thing. If it weren't for them, this site would be non-existant.
I should say, if it weren't for C.J., the marine biologist in charge of the otter exhibit at the Aquarium. He's done so much for the otters, I'd hate to see what it would look like without him! Thanks, CJ!
Now, the great thing about the otters that sets them apart from all of the other animals at the Aquarium, including all of the other marine mammals and river otters, is that the sea otters have distinct personalities that are easy to pick up on after you've watched them for awhile. They're like old buddies, and they make you feel like they're glad to see you when you visit. Well, at least, they acknowledge you. Anyway, for information on these incredible otters, check out my unofficial Seattle Sea Otter Fanpage - it includes pictures and profiles of the different sea otters, how to tell them apart, my own stunning photography (lol), and much more!

If you're a resident at Seattle, or you ever happen to visit, CHECK OUT THE AQUARIUM! Do what I do: skip the dumb fish (all they do is swim) and head straight to the otters! I learn something new every time I visit. That's what I call entertainment!
