The Fourth Adventure
The Museum
This is not a full adventure,
but just a battlefield where you fight all the bosses from the first three
adventures. You will be able to play this adventure only if you got the
ticket in the second adventure and you have completed the third adventure.
Characters
You have no choice of characters. The twelve characters in this adventure are:
Nick (Prince)
Ruce (Gladiator)
Shade (Sniper)
Wendy (Wizard)
Claude (Bird Battler)
Deanna (Hero)
Natasha (Wizard)
Jaha (Gladiator)
Eric (Paladin)
Dawn (Paladin)
Luke (Master Monk)
Sarah (Vicar)
Here is a strategy to
beat the museum givien to me by derek0909. Hope this helps you like it
has helped him.
How to Beat the Museum:
Since there are no choice
of characters of course, you have to make the best with what is given.
If you
haven't done this yet,
be sure to have all the characters that appear in the Museum at levels
20 or
higher. I had
Deanna at 27, you should probably have him there too. You should also give
him the White Ring
and keep him from dying!
Your victory will depend on his survival! Be sure to keep Sarah away
from battles
and have her use Aura
level 4 when needed. Use Luke for up close healing. At the initial
battle, I split
the characters at the
beginning into three teams:
1) Deanna, Nick, Natasha,
Eric, Shade, Claude and Dawn
(straight
up)
2) Ruce and Luke (to the left)
3) Jaha, Wendy and Sarah (to the right)
1) To make sure Death
Woldol doesn't mingle with the powerful demons farther up on the screen,
I have
Deanna quickly pursue
him and cast Bolt 4. Don't worry, you won't be needing that spell
for any of the
major bosses trust me.
The range to cast the Bolt 4 spell should get Death Woldol's attention
and he will
start casting freeze
spells. Have Dawn, Natasha, Nick (don't use his Bolt 4 yet), Eric,
Shade, Claude and
Dawn join you in the
assault against Death Woldol.
Solo
should quickly jump in and cast a high damage bolt spell, if any characters
get in the danger zone
feel free to have Sarah
cast Aura level 4 to save every character from being bombed by repeated
spells
that the bosses use
at their luxury. With Deanna, Nick, Natasha,Eric and Dawn you should
make short work
of Death Woldol and
Solo.
2)
Meanwhile you
should have Ruce and Luke go to the left and defeat the incredibly weak
Dantom and the
semi-powerful Barbara.
Dantom should fall quickly but Barbara should take a little while, heal
when needed
and have the characters
that took on Death Woldol and Solo come and help.
3) Since Gordon is such
an easy win, it shouldn't take too much effort to bring him down.
Have Wendy, Jaha
and Sarah blast him
with all they have he should fall quickly.
All right!
The first tactic is through! If you have used lots of magic points
please allow Sarah,
Natasha and Wendy to
regain all of their magic points by sitting idle with their Mystery Staffs
regaining
MPs.
You shouldn't have any dead characters yet. But you can probably expect
Ruce or Wendy to go down
when they face Bazoo,
Evil Monster and Chu Rao up next. If all is well, I suggest you stop the
battle so
you can save and then
go back to the game and begin the next phase.
Here, basically
get their attention by using a scapegoat, Ruce is usually the best because
he gets in
a few hits before he
dies. When you use a scapegoat don't expect him to live, you can
try but he's merely
being used to draw in
the boss. You should probably get Chu Rao where he will proceed to
blast fire on
poor ol'Ruce.
Quickly have Wendy or Natasha cast Blaze level four and have Shade hit
him with a good
arrow but what ever
you do, kill him fast! Bazoo will probably come in shortly after
with Bolt spells that
can quickly destroy
many party members. Remember, keep Deanna alive! Take down
Bazoo with your best
means and as before
feel free to have Sarah cast Aura level four to heal the many out of reach
characters
that may be in the danger
zone from Bazoo's spells. More than likely, Ruce and Wendy will die either
from
Bazoo or the Evil Monster.
There isn't a real tactic for the Evil Monster you basically have to use
the
same tactic you used
in Toward the Root Evil just hit him with every spell and attack you have
until he goes
down. Remember
to heal and protect Deanna!
If everyone
is still alive or just a few missing (not Deanna of course!) fall back
and allow Natasha, Sarah
or Wendy (if she's still
alive) to regain MP's and do any healing that is needed. Stop the
battle and
return to the game again.
Next is
the part that usually screws everything up. Kisaragi and Frabell as partners
in crime. Kisaragi
gets new turns just
about as much as Bazoo and she casts Raijin level two that could take out
many party
members. Spread
your characters out and be sure that Shade survives this point of course
or it will be very
difficult to take out
the Iom Serpents. Anyway, kill Kisaragi as fast as you can.
I recommend you use
Nick's Bolt 4 spell
at this point and maybe use Natasha's Attack spell to boost up the fighters
to
take her down before
she can cause too much trouble. Frabell should fall easily without too
many problems.
Here's Iom
and his serpents! Have Shade position himself two blocks away from
the first serpent but be
sure to be out of Big
Iom's range. You should be two blocks away diagonally just past the
stone block.
Have Shade fire away.
For the next serpent, do the same thing at two blocks away and get him
outta here!
Don't take on Iom just
yet. Ignore him for now and go down but far away from Warderer, Bulldor
and Woldol.
Heal characters and
allow Natasha, Sarah, and Wendy (if she hasn't died yet) to regain MPs.
Stop the game
and go back into battle.
This is
the section where saving the game amid battles comes in handy because so
many things can go wrong.
Luke, Deanna, Claude
or Dawn can easily bite the dust and of course you don't want to have Deanna
to be
gone!
There is a trick
you can do to get the powerful Warderer and Woldol to not use their devastating
spells it is not easy,
but first try to get Warderer's attention by deliberately positioning yourself
where
Warderer can run over
and blast a spell. I recommend Claude for this. Don't get to
close, because Woldol
will chime right in
and make mincemeat out of Claude and they will both return to their posts
and all is
lost. Get close
to Warderer but not too close. You should be able to figure out what
I mean, keep all the
characters well away
from the terrible trio but sort of have your army pursue them by going
around the
fallen posts at the
far bottom. If Claude survives, he should be a favorite among Woldol,
who will hardly
ever cast his Demon
Breath to have weak attacks on poor ol' Claude. You can use this
to have the other
characters quickly take
him down. The same goes for Warderer, he will like to beat on Deanna
(but not
until he dies!) he will
completely refrain from spell casting and you can easily bring him down.
Don't
forget about Bulldor
get rid of him quickly with attacks from Jaha and a few Blaze level 4 spells.
With Warderer,
Woldol and Bulldor defeated you are at a crossroads. When I did this
battle these are the
characters I had left.
Nick, Deanna, Jaha, Shade, Natasha, Sarah.
These characters
are more than enough to win against these bosses. You can go get
Dava and Geppel, or Iom
it's your choice.
But I like to go to Iom first since he is harder. Take a respite
and have Sarah and
Natasha regain all their
MPs and do all the healing that is necessary. Position Deanna, Jaha
and Shade so
they are walking distance
from attacking Iom. Have Natasha cast Attack on Deanna and have him
attack Iom
head on. But do
not, I repeat DO NOT have Shade jump in and shoot arrows. Iom will
always employ his demon
breath and give you
a real rough time. When I had Deanna fight Iom, for some reason he
completely
refrained from using
his Demon Breath. Since I had the White Ring equipped and Deanna
already at level
29, his defense power
was 61 and Iom's monster attack only took off one point of damage.
I just had Deanna
slice away even when
the Attack spell wore off to have him single handedly bring down the Ultimate
Devil.
Pretty impressive huh?
Believe
it or not, this same strategy works on Dava and Geppel! Since Geppel
is a weakling he will hit
only Deanna with one
hit point per attack, Deanna will bring him down quickly with the help
of an
attack-boosted Jaha.
Have Natasha cast Attack again and have him go to the left side of Dava
and attack.
Have Jaha attack on
the right and even have Shade fire arrows. She may use Dava breath
a little, but she'll
mostly just hit on Deanna.
My girlfriend thinks Dava keeps hitting on him because he's so good looking,
but
you can't help but wonder.
Because what seemed to be an impossible battle turned out to be easy just
by
using one man!
When Dava uses her breath retreat and have Sarah heal you. You can use
Aura 4 or Heal 4
whatever you think is
necessary. Once Dava starts to lose hit points you can boost Nick
up and have him
fight Dava head on.
He's the leader, but she'll still hit on Deanna. Hey! I think Natasha's
getting
jealous! Anyway,
the infamous Dava should be an easy win in this Museum using this final
tactic.
