| Chapter 3 It was Saturday morning and Vicki woke up at Sarah's head with her mobile ringing and a banging headache. She groaned as she answered the phone. "Ha ha, i forgot it was friday night last night!" a male voice said. "SHANE!" she shouted waking Sarah and her other two mates Lara and Hannah up. "Awwwww, how did you guess?" he said cheekily. "hmmmmm, wonder maybe it's because you're my boyfriend." Vicki said sarkily. "Oh so you're not in the mood for games, huh? Must've been a good night last night!" "I can't remember!" "Oh well, look i'll let ya get to sleep or whatever. Just thought I'd tell ya the good news." "What good news?" "The good news that we've found our two new band members and we're coming back to Sligo early." "How early is that then?" Vicki was excited. "This afternoon!" "Really? You're not joking?" Vicki's headache had suddenly gone. "No Way! Would I lie to you babe? I'll be home about 3ish, right?" "Yeah, great!" "Right! Love ya!" "Love ya too" Vicki switched her phone off & walked into the kitchen humming. "Vick! Shut it" a moody Lara shouted from the lounge. "Sorry! It's just that..." Vicki walking into the lounge to find only Lara. "Where's Sarah & Han gone?" Puking!" Lara sat up holding her head "Whats Shane said anyway to make you feel better?" "How did you know it was Shane?!" Vicki said confused. Lara did an impression of Vicki on the phone shouting Shane. "Ah!" Vicki smiled "Well he's back in.." she looked at the clock "3 hours!" "oh...Joy!" Lara sarkily said. "I'd better get home, tell the others get well soon!" Vicki told Lara grabbing her coat and walking out the door. Chapter 4 There was a knock at the door and Vicki opened it to see Shane. "SHAY!" "VICKS!" They both hugged each other tightly for what seemed forever. "God, I missed you!" Shane whispered in her ear. Vicki was about to say the same when a cough came from behind Shane which broke them from each other. She looked up to see a tall, handsome blonde guy. "Oh Vickis, I told Bryan he could stay with us while we record a few track in Sligo and all." Shane told her. "So, you're the famous Vicki that Shane hasn't shut up about, i'm Bryan by the way, the new band member." He put his hand out and Vicki shook it. "Pleased to meet ya, now come on guys, don't stand on the doorstep any longer." She invited them in. "Nice place you two have got here." Bryan smiled looking around the house. "Thanks, now shall I show Bryan to the spare bedroom, Shay?" "Nah, i'll do it! Follow me Bry!" Shane grinned running up the stairs with Bryan following tugging his suitcases. Vicki smiled to herself, she was so happy to see Shane back. But these days apart had shown how much she loved and cared for him. "What you so happy about?" Shane asked walking down the stairs and wrapping his arms round Vicki's waist. "Seeing you again!" she said wrapping her arms round his neck & kissing him passionately. "I have to put with this for a whole week." Bryan complained walking down the stairs. They broke from the kiss to see him sulking. "It's this or nothing Mcfadden!" Shane chuckled. "I suppose I'll choose this then. Where's the grub?" Bryan replied still in a mood. Shane moved in for another kiss from Vicki while pointing at the kitchen for Bryan |
