>> World of Our Own - The Review Well well well, the 3rd album out ALREADY! and it just keeps on getting better and better! Not only are the songs fab but the lads actually WROTE several of the songs! I know it's a bit late to do a review on this album because I'm sure all you lovely WL fans have it by now and if you haven't got it, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? LOL! Only j/k. Anyway lets get on with this review! 1. Queen Of My Heart Aaaaahhhhh a nice slow one to start off with...............this song was the A-Side to When You're Looking Like That and it has already been dubbed as WL's best song yet..........mind you I think I may agree. Well, at least I did until I heard the next song on here! Starts off with the familiar piano intro and then turns into this full blown ballad! I like I like! 2. Bop Bop Baby Now THIS is a CORKER of a hit!!!!! Written by Shane and Bryan it is DEFINATLEY the most catchy and lively Westlife song ever! I took an instant liking to this song! Fantastic intro and FAB lyrics! A real treat! Well done McFadden/Filan! 3. I Cry HHHHmmmmmmmmmm.............do I sense a little touch of Soledad here? It sounds a lot like it with a lot of plucky guitars...................takes a few listens to get into it but it is absolutly beautiful! 4. Uptown Girl This is the song which everyone recognises and is always sung by fans at a WL concert! Unusually catchy that you drive yourself mad! Or was that just me? Anyway originally a hit for legend Billy Joel and was the Comic Relief single here in the UK, it is one of WL's best selling hits! 5. Why Do I Love You? Back to a nice ballad! This song is classic Westlife but I would recommend it to anyone. All round gorgeous! 6. I Wanna Grow Old With You Written by Bryan for Kerry, it's the nicest song on the album. It's so nice that........lets just say it's best to not listen to this one when you are in the wrong mood! Say no more! 7. When You're Looking Like That (Single Remix) WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO THEIR VOICES? This remix makes them sound like they recorded this in a cereal packet! I LOVE this song but not the remix. Leave the lad's perfect voices alone! 8. Evergreen Um.............how can I put this............this is the only WL song I do not like. It's corny and the lyric are slushy. C'mon lads! You can do better than that! (true Simon Cowell stylee!) 9. World Of Our Own The title track is the next WL single and is destined to be HUGE! Catchy and and just simply fantastic. It's already going down well with the critics! Well done lads! 10. To Be Loved This song is gorgeous! It's sung really nicely and seems really heart-felt and Mark sound terrific! This is also Mark's favourite off the album! 11. Drive Reviving some of the beaty 60's sound, Drive is an absolute hit and is a favourite with the fan's. I love it! 12. If Your Heart's Not In It This song means so much to me and it speaks of the true feelings of many people out there This one's my favourite and the lyrics are beautiful and well written. (a bit serious there! soz) 13. When You Come Around This song is fantastic, catchy! (I love that word!) But there is only one thing about this song.............doesn't it sound like a dead ringer to Keep On Moving by ex-rivals 5ive? Hhhhhmmmmmm............ 14. Don't Say It's Too Late Well sung and just simply brill! That's all I have to say! 15. Don't Let Me Go A lot of guitars on this song and has a bit of a More Than Words feel to it but I adore it! I always end up singing this all day long! 16. Walk Away This song is OK. Not the best but still OK. 17. Love Crime Another favourite of mine! I really really really really like this one! Classic Take That! 18. Imaginary Diva WWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wasn't expecting this! This proves that people who say that Westlife only do boring ballads are talking through their asses! FANTASTIC!!!!!!! Mark sings it to perfection!!!!! Well done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let's see much more of this! 19. Angel Originally a hit for Sarah McLachlan, Angel is one of the best songs Westlife have recorded. It's had a lot of TV coverage and it is the nicest possible way to wrap up this brilliant album. But wait! There's another more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "More?!" Yes MORE!!!!! (Bonus Track) Bad Girls We're really turning up the heat now! Things are getting a bit raunchy and there is a lot of sweating and "wanting it". Definately not for young ears! I like it anyway! I hope you enjoyed reading this review! Overall World Of Our Own is the BEST album WL have ever done and have proved they are here to stay for ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever..............well you get the idea!
