Talking to Nick!
i play softball durring the summer with a bunch of my friends, and we're really bad, like, terrible! anyways, at the end of the season we have an awards night, and everyone gets a medal, we eat snacks and have raffles, and then we go back to My friend's house and go in her pool and hang out talking about how bad our team is, and how no one cares because we're all together. Anyways,
My firend, who loves nsync, called our local radio station to ask them to do a shout out about our team (the red hot lil' mamas-lol i know, i know, it sounds bad but whatever...we wanted just lil mamas but some people didn't agree...) so she calls the staion and they do the shout out, and we call back to say thanks, and the DJ asks how we came up with that name.
"It's and aaron carter song, lil mama"
"Oh, hey you want to talk to Nick carter, he's here." OKay so now we're all like DUH we wanna talk to him and i had to be the first, and (note: it's like 11:00 at night, just for refrence)
"hello?" "Nick?" "Yeah?" "Is this really Nick carter, cuz we're not really believing it right now." "It really is." "Really?" "Really." "Are you sure?" "Yeah" <- nick laughing "say something that would make us believe it's you." i said. i'm totally calm, considering it's Nick, i mean it was probably better for everyone that we weren't sure it was him. So he starts singing!!! SINGING TO ME!! he sang "I need you tonight" everyone is screaming and i can't hear. We asked him why he was there and he said to visit his buddies. We asked him to come to the aaron concert we were going to, he said he would try. I asked him if he could sing "Help me" he said he couldn't becuase the managment wouldn't let him because it wasn't released yet. And he was so nice, he talked to all of us, 12 screaming girls for an hour! that was just the sweetest thing! Oh we asked him about the funky chickens, and i kinda feel bad cuz he didn't know it, and i told hi i kinda don't believe it's you, but the way i see it, he's not going to remember us, but we're gonna remember him so it's okay!

Finding out that it really was nick on the phone
Everyone called the radio station at some point over the next few days asking if Nick was there, we eitehr got "I dunnos" or "Nos" now, i'm pissed, how could it not be him i kept saying, what are the chances that some guy who sounds exactly like him being at the staion? just about as good as Nick actually being there. Now it wasn't a schedualed thing so of course people say no, because they don't know what happened unless they were there, and they don't get all giddy about celebs, they come in there all the time, so the "I dunnos" are justifiable.

I was at this restaurant that i NEVER go to, the last time i was there i was probably 5! I wans't gonna go, because it was to visit with my aunt, who is moving, so i was forced, but i wasn't gonna go, i didn't feel good, and i was tired and pissed off about something else, but i went. WE're almost done and ready to leave, when another party somes and sits at the only other table in the room we're in. this place is EMPTY, they could've found somewhere else to put them, but they sit down a few feet away from where i am, and i'm listening in on their convo, which is about the radio staion that we talked to nick at. The guys voice sounds familiar, and i'm thinking, this guy works for the station, i make my cousin go and ask the guy with the other people, if he really works there, the guy says yes, and i start to talk to him, and my first thing is about Nick. "Was Nick carter there a few nights a go?" "No, i don't think so, he sent us his cd and called in." "They told us we were talking to nick carter a few nights ago." "Was it like, late at night?" "Yeah?" "Yeah, i'm sorry i'm thinking about it now, he was there, i remember hearing that he stopped by, he was taking calls." "Because all my firends were like, nah it wasn't him, i couldn't be him and i kept saying no it was him and no one belived me, so now i'm telling them, nope, i talked to the guy who works there, he says yes nick was there."
so i was so excited i called my firends and told them, oh gosh it was very exciting!
