Rural Development through Apiculture (RUDA) is an NGO (a Civil society Organisation) in the domain of Biodiversity conservation precisely bee farming sector and our base is in the Limbe Botanic Garden South West Province, Cameroon.

We were recently legalized by the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Decentralization but have existed for a long time and had a wide experience working with mainly rural communities on development, forestry, Agro-forestry, Biodiversity Conservation and commercial apicultural projects.

These projects have been specifically on water catchments protection, reforestation, and the implementation of sustainable natural resource management and the marketing of bee bi-products for direct financial rewards to bee farmers in rural communities RUDA in the course of its activities has worked in collaboration with many local civil society organizations.

Our services include the training of bee farmers, education on apiculture in Biodiversity Conservation, agro-forestry and community development, the design and fabrication of bookkeeping equipment.

RUDA's goal is to make a valid and lasting contribution to the economic development process and the fight against poverty particularly in rural communities, Biodiversity Conservation and the sustainable use of natural resources by promoting bee farming as an eco-friendly and commercially viable enterprise.
