Pete said as he stared into his beautiful girlfriend's light green eyes. "Pete," I said as I felt tearts coming to my eyes. "It's important for me to be with someone that my family will like." "Who doesn't like me?" He asked in a calm voice that chilled my bones. "My brothers." I muttered as I looked at my feet. "Matt and Jeff?" He asked in a shock. "Why? I mean, they are always nice and friendly to me." "No, Pete, they like you as a friend but not as a boyfriend to their little sister." I said as I looked straight into his dark brown eyes. "Oh, I'm not good enough for the Hardy Boyz sister." Pete growled as he pulled me closer to him. "Pete." I whimpered, trying to pull my forearms from his grasp. "Sorry." He muttered a he released my arms. "Pete, you are Matt's age and I am just 18 years old." "That shouldn't matter to them, Eden." He hissed. "Well, it does. It does and not to just them, but also my dad." I said as I looked down at my feet again. Pete took my face into his hands, giving me plenty of time to get away from him. His thumb gently stroked my plump cheek. Our eyes were molded together, drinking from each other's souls. "I love you, Eden, and if your family can't see that...," He stated as he pulled me closer to him, pressing our bodies together. "Pete," I whispered, pulling from him only to be brought back into a sweet kiss. I pushed away from him gently before going on. "I love you, too, but it's so important for my family to like the people I date." Pulling fully from him, I walked out of his apartment for the last time.
