Star Awards 2001
This is the only time that I remember Nick coming to Singapore. In case you don't know, Star Awards is held yearly in Singapore during the end of the year. Nick is one of the presenters for the Star Awards 2001. Other presenters include Jacky Wu, Athena Chu, Matilda Tao...

The winner of the Best Supporting Actress Award is Xiang Yun, for her role in The Challenge. I remember this scene quite well too. Because Nick is not very fluent in his Mandarin, he had everyone smiling at his Mandarin. I can also recall myself smiling at his Mandarin too...He looks kind of cute when he speaks Mandarin I think. =) Other nominees for Best Supporting Actress Award are Chen Huihui in Love Me, Love Me Not, Florence Tan in The Invincible Squad, Lin Meijiao in Three Woman and a Half and Yvonne Lim in Master Swordsman Lu Xiaofeng 2.
