as a bridge from surrealism to what has now become the abstract expressionest movement, The forms seem to take on a life of thier own which are consiously meaningless but unconsiously meaningful. ROBIN was born in New York City, became interested in art at a very early age with the encouragement and inspiration of her mentor and father, a celebrated artist in his own right who specialized in portraits in oils. Robin studied art at the Swayne School of Art and Design. The enchantment of the African Abstract figures have been availible and shared in art shows in West Palm Beach Florida, Aspen Colorado, and Santa Barbara California.
