When emailing me about trading here’s a few simple ways to make this trade easier .
If we’ve traded in the past, these rules do not apply to you.
I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY TRADE
PLEASE don’t offer me 100 one dollar cards for 1 of my cards valued at $100
or 100 commons for a $10 card. I trade like valued cards for like valued cards
If you want a high $ card from me but can't offer the same ,
I would consider taking more lesser valued cards as long as there is an $ trade advantage to me and vise versa !! !! !!
Please list all cards that are involved in ALL emails.
List them in the year/brand/number format.
If you know the Beckett value of the card , please list that too.
I use Beckett Online Price Guide as a benchmark but it’s not the bible !! !! !!
Some cards I may trade at lower than Beckett but some I may feel are worth than Beckett prices them at
I will try to reply as quickly as possible but please this is my hobby not a full time business.
I have a disability and a family life that only allows me limited computer time for cards
BUT if I offer cards , I am serious about the deal and want to complete it in a timely manner.
I prefer to trade even (or could be $ and cards also).
If I'm giving you $10 in cards, you need to give me $10 in cards
Small differences are okay with me and will not be questioned
but please don't offer a $10 card for a $15 card
When trading commons of similar value products / players / teams I’m willing to trade card for card.
I will not trade 50 sabres for 50 red wings -- as Wings and other teams have more listed stars on them
I’m willing to trade hundreds of cards at a time or 1 card either way I will treat every deal the same.
I will consider any offer but don’t be surprised with a counter-offer in response.
After a trade has been finalized I will request your references
E-bay ratings or various trading internet groups are great references but I may need to hear from some real people too.
After we’re both happy with references, we finalize the deal and mail.
At this point I’d expect both parties to mail secure shipments , at the same time unless otherwise agreed.
If you don’t have or want to exchange references feel free to say so
but I will expect you to mail your end of the deal 1st.
When mailing cards I recommend the following:
For just one or two cards, put it in a top loaders and mail in a bubble envelope.
3 or more cards: secure cards in a team bags with at least 1 top loader and mail in a bubble envelope.
Using regular WHITE envelopes IS NOT recommended
they have a tendency to get caught in postal machines when carrying top loaders
Larger amounts of cards packed safely and properly as needed in boxes.
I will insure high valued cards and or may send return receipt requested and would expect you to do the same
It’s not that I distrust everyone but between the Postal System and the rip-offs it’s a small price to pay.
I keep all emails and IMs regarding the trades I’ve made for at least 6 months
