Liz: Gram.Audrey: Hello, Elizabeth, come sit down next to me.
Liz sat down on the couch next to Audrey.
Liz: Look, Gram...
Audrey: (cuts her off) Elizabeth, I am sorry.
Liz: For what?
Audrey: For acting the way I did earlier.
Liz: Gram...it's ok...I understand.
Audrey: No, you don't...I was shocked...but I had no right to react the way I did. And I just wanted to tell you that...I will be here for you...and your baby if you need me.
Liz: Oh, Gram, of course I need you. Thank you so much.
They hug.
Audrey: Ok, well, the first step is to get you to see a doctor.
Liz: Ok, but will you come with me?
Audrey: I would love to come with you. (they hug again)
A few days later, Liz saw an OB-GYN and she is exactly 10 weeks along. The doctor told her her due date would be Janaury 15, 2000. Liz was in perfect health, and despite her age she is expected to have a normal and successful pregnancy.
