Memories Revisited - Chapter 25

~ 4 months later ~~

Liz and Lucky waited in the doctor's office for Liz's monthly check up. She was six months pregnant and with everyday she got more beautiful.

A few more minutes later, the nurse came out. "Mrs. Spencer, we're ready for you now."

Lucky grabbed Liz's hand and they both went into the examining room. Liz got herself on the table and the doctor came in. "Hello Liz, Lucky. How is everything?'

"Everything is good." Said Liz.

"OK well lye back and let's see your baby."

Liz lay down on the table and Lucky took her hand. The doctor started the sonogram. For a few minutes the doctor was silent and then finally spoke up. "Now this is very interesting."

Lucky looked at Liz and then at the doctor. "Is there something wrong."

"NO nothing's wrong,." The doctor looked at Liz. "Mom, Dad you're having twins."

"Twins!" Liz screamed. "Oh my god Lucky did you here that….twins?"

Lucky looked down at Liz. "I think we need to buy a bigger house."

Liz got herself dressed and got a clean bill of health. She and Lucky left the doctor's office and headed home.

Once at home, Liz and Lucky sat on the couch and Lucky had his arm around Liz. Liz looked at Lucky. "Lucky are you okay with this?"

"Elizabeth are you serious? I am in a little bit of shock, but we're having twins, that is so amazing, two little miracles."

Lucky leaned in and kissed Liz and then Liz pulled back. "Oooh, ow."

"What, what's wrong?"

"Nothing, just give me your hand." Liz took Lucky's hand and placed it on her stomach. "Did you feel that?"

"Oh wow! That's our babies."

"I love you so much Lucky."

"I love you….always."

Later that day Liz and Lucky shared their good news with the children and with the whole family. Everyone was so excited for the birth of the Spencer twins.
