The Heart Remembers - Part 12

Webber Residence:

Elizabeth gasped and stared wide-eyed at Lucky. "What did you say?"

"I said we could just elope. I mean think about it Elizabeth, that would solve all our problems, right? We could get married when we want to get married and we wouldn't have the hassle of a guest list and all those social obligations that comes with being a Steele."

Elizabeth continued to stare at Lucky intently. She chewed on her bottom lip nervously as she considered what Lucky was suggesting.

"Ok, let's do it." Elizabeth said finally, getting up and walking across the room to stare out the window. Turning she gave Lucky a bright smile and threw her hands up in the air in surrender.

"You are right it would solve all our problems with the crazy guest list and all the social obligations and we wouldn't have to wait. I don't care how we get married as long as I get married to you. I just want to be Mrs. Lucky Spencer."

Lucky got up and walked over to Elizabeth, pulling her into his arms for a long embrace. He combed his fingers through her hair as he held her and then rested his chin on the top of her head as he reflected their decision.

Pulling away slightly, Lucky looked deep into Elizabeth's eyes and while he could see the love she felt for him shining in her eyes, he could also see the sadness of a treasured dream about to die.

Smiling down at her, Lucky lifted her chin with his thumb. "You want this wedding, Elizabeth and that's what you are going to have. I can't believe I even suggested eloping."

"No Lucky, it's ok really. I have thought about it and you are right, eloping is the answer. We could just go off and get married and maybe have a reception afterwards to include our families and closest friends."

Lucky could see that Elizabeth was ready and willing to do just that, but he also saw the flicker of hope in her eyes that told him that having a wedding was important to her.

"No Elizabeth, you and I are not going to elope. No, we are going to have a beautiful wedding with everyone we love there to celebrate it with us."

When Elizabeth went to argue with Lucky, he stopped her with a long passionate kiss that left them both breathless and clinging to each other.

Lucky took Elizabeth's hand and pulled her over to sit on the bed where they faced each other once more. He brushed her hair out of her face before reaching over to place a tender kiss on her forehead.

"I love you so much Elizabeth and more than anything else in the world I want to be married to you. I would do it tonight or tomorrow or right this minute. However, I know you've always wanted a wedding with all the people you love there so that's what you are going to get. No elopement, a real honest to goodness wedding with all the trimmings."

"Are you sure Lucky, I know it's turning into a big headache."

Lucky placed one finger on Elizabeth's lips to silence her. "I am sure, sweetheart."

Elizabeth smiled, relieved to have the wedding plans back on. As insane as everything seemed to be getting she relished the idea of being married to Lucky surrounded by the people they both loved.

Seeing Elizabeth's beautiful relaxed smile, Lucky took her hands and pulled her into a more comfortable position on the bed where they both sat cross-legged.

"Ok, back to this insane guest list that almost caused us to run screaming off to Vegas or some cheesy wedding chapel. I think you and I need to assume control over the situation and plan this wedding ourselves."

Elizabeth gazed at Lucky, a puzzled expression creasing her face. "I don't think I understand."

"Well, one of the biggest problems about all this is all that social obligation and my worrying that if I don't invite all the right people it will cause a great big social fall out for my Mom."

"Yeah, and I understand that Lucky, you just want to make your family happy. There is nothing wrong with that."

"No, but this is our wedding and the only thing that's important is for us to have it the way we want it. We shouldn't have to worry about making sure all the right people are invited. We should only invite the people who we really want to share our special day with, right?"

Elizabeth nodded, smiling conspiratorially with Lucky. "Are you thinking what I am thinking?"

Lucky smiled broader. "Well, if you are thinking we should ditch the current guest list and bring on the one with only Elizabeth's and Lucky's must attend guests then you are on."

Elizabeth squealed and jumped up and grabbed her pad ripping out all the used pages and dropping the clean pad in between her and Lucky.

"Let's do it Lucky, let's invite only those people we really want at our wedding and not worry about anyone else. But wait."

"What?"

"What about your mom, won't she be really upset?"

"Elizabeth, let me see that smile. Come on no more worrying about anything that has to do with our wedding. From here on out we are just going to have fun with it starting with our trip to Paris later, ok?"

Elizabeth nodded slowly, beaming up at Lucky with all the love she felt inside her. "Yes fun, we will have fun planning our wedding, after all we are only going to do this once, right?"

"That's right Elizabeth, now you are talking. First, let's think about Mt. Hebron again and whether we don't want to just shoot for 100 guests so we can have our wedding at our church. We've already called and made sure the church was available, so instead of trying to find another venue, maybe we should just stick to our original plan and plan the guest list to around that."

Elizabeth squealed with delight. "I would love to be married at Mt. Hebron, it would be such a blessing to have our ceremony there and if we are going to stick to only inviting those people we absolutely want to have there then I think we can keep it under a hundred."

"Let's do it," said Lucky, starting to call out names while Elizabeth quickly jots them down.

Penthouse, Port Charles Hotel

"Mother, did you get any sleep at all last night." Danielle asked walking into the living room and sitting across from her mother who was in the same position she had left her in the night before.

"I got a few winks, but how can I sleep at a time like this there is so much planning to do and today we have Paris and I have to find a church. Darling, you've gotten to know Elizabeth a little, do you think she would mind getting married in LA? I have called all around and I can't find a church that will accommodate everyone for the ceremony."

"I don't know, Mother," said Danielle taking the pad from her mother's hand.

After studying the list for a while, Danielle raised questioning eyes to regard her mother. "Mother, have you showed this guest list to Elizabeth or Malcolm yet?"

"No dear, but what does that matter?" Theresa inquired, genuinely puzzled at Danielle's question.

"Mother, shouldn't Elizabeth and Malcolm prepare this guest list, after all it's only their wedding and all, they might be, oh, just a tad bit interested in who attends."

Theresa smiled at Danielle. "Darling, I am Malcolm's mother so it's completely acceptable for me to prepare the guest list. Laura helped with Malcolm and Elizabeth's friends here in Port Charles and I supplied the list of Malcolm's friends in LA, perfectly reasonable dear."

"Yes, Mother but a lot of the names on this list are people I am sure Elizabeth has never heard of. Perhaps she doesn't want them at her wedding and if that's the case shouldn't she have a say in that."

"Nonsense darling, Malcolm knows everyone on the list and it's his wedding as well, right? Besides, we've known these people forever it would be an insult to not invite them to Malcolm's wedding."

"Mother didn't your dream of planning a big wedding got fulfilled during Jonathan and Patricia's wedding. I mean their wedding was the social event of the century. Everyone you knew was invited that should have taken care of your need to have an elaborate wedding.

"Yes, that was nice dear, but that was Jonathan, what has one to do with the other? Malcolm deserves to have a beautiful wedding as well, don't you think?"

"You know mother, somehow I don't see Malcolm and Elizabeth going for the enormous gala you are planning. Besides, where are you going to find the time to pull it off, the wedding is in less that 11 days now."

"Everyone will pitch in, including you dear and why don't you think Malcolm and Elizabeth will want an elaborate wedding?" Theresa asked truly puzzled.

"Because they are not the big elaborate type, Mother. Remember how disinterested Malcolm was over all the drama that went into planning his wedding to Chandler?"

"Yes dear but he didn't love Chandler, he loves Elizabeth. It will be different this time, trust me. Malcolm is going to love having a large beautiful wedding with everyone in attendance."

"Beautiful yes, oversized and elaborate no. I am picturing them going for a more simple, intimate elegance. Isn't that how you see Elizabeth, Mother and even Malcolm for that matter?"

"Danielle, just because the wedding will be large and elaborate doesn't mean it won't be beautiful and elegant. It can even be simple if that's what they want."

Danielle raised her eyes doubtfully at her mother causing Theresa to frown at her.

"What?"

"Mother I don't think large and elaborate can ever be translated into simple."

"I swear Danielle, you would think I was destroying Malcolm and Elizabeth's wedding plans the way you are carrying on."

Danielle smiled and reached over and hugged her mother. "I know you only want to plan a beautiful wedding for Malcolm, just like you did for Jonathan. Listen mother, forget everything I said, ok? Except, please run this pass Elizabeth before you make any final decisions, ok?"

"I will." Theresa said smiling broadly, thinking Elizabeth would certainly have no objections to having a beautiful, exquisite wedding.

"Mother, I may as well tell you now so there won't be any surprises later. When and if I get married, just think really, really small and you've got the wedding I am dreaming about. I want just a small service with my family and closest friends in attendance."

Theresa pouted but decided it wasn't yet necessary to argue about Danielle's wedding plans, thinking there would be time enough for that later. She made a mental note however to begin working on changing Danielle's mind as soon as she gets through with Malcolm and Elizabeth's wedding. Feeling suddenly brighter, Theresa became energized thinking of the day ahead.

"Oh Danielle, did you get Sly to agree to accompany us to Paris?"

"Yes mother, he's coming. I think he's anxious to begin getting reacquainted with his cousin, so he was willing to overlook the horror of going shopping."

Theresa clapped her hands together in delight. "Beautiful, everything is in place for the trip to Paris. Jonathan and Patricia are on board and Laura is taking care of Lulu and Lacy. She's also going to see if Sonny and Dillan want to accompany us as well. The house is open and ready and Malcolm and Elizabeth are oblivious to our plans."

Danielle rolled her eyes dramatically at her mother's sneakiness and groaned at the thought of having to explain to Malcolm later why she didn't tip him off.

"Well mother, it's really a good idea having all couples on board, that way no one will get lonely or feel abandoned."

Spencer's Residence later:

"Laura, you know Michael and I would have been happier hanging out at home while you women folk hop off to Paris to buy the frock," complained Luke.

"Luke, stop arguing and pass me that shirt. We are already running behind and your consistent whining isn't getting us anywhere. I still have to finish packing, the car is going to be here in an hour and there are still a lot of things that I still have to take care of before we go, so shut up and help me get ready."

"Ok, ok, no need to get your panties in a twist, here you go," said Luke handing Laura the shirt she requested. "Laura, just one more thing and then I will be quiet."

"What?"

"What's wrong with the Chuckles or even a skip to New York? Why do we all have to fly off to Paris to get a frock for the little missy and why do the men have to go along? Its not like we get to see the frock, isn't there some female superstition about the men seeing the frock?"

Laura glared at Luke who swallowed hard and averted his gaze, looking guiltily at his shoes. "Sorry, ok, packing it is. What should I pass you next?"

"First of all it's a gown not a frock and secondly, Lucky is taking Elizabeth to Paris for a romantic getaway which he suggested combining as a shopping expedition. Theresa and I would like to be there to shop for the gown with Elizabeth and we thought it would be nice if we also made it a romantic interlude for the rest of us. Now shut up and pass me those socks."

Luke moved quickly to do what he was told, swallowing the response that had sprung to his lips at the tone in Laura's voice.

Webber Residence, bathroom:

Lucky brushed his teeth while trying to hear what Elizabeth was saying in the shower. "I can't hear you sweetheart," Lucky said, his mouth filled with toothpaste.

"I SAID HAVING A FINAL COUNT OF 85 LEAVES A LITTLE ROOM FOR A FEW MORE GUESTS YOUR FAMILY MAY WANT TO INCLUDE."

"Yeah, that's a great idea sweetheart."

"WHAT? WHAT DID YOU SAY LUCKY, I CAN'T HEAR YOU BABY, SPEAK UP."

Lucky finished brushing his teeth and quickly pulled off his boxers and stepped behind the shower curtain to join Elizabeth in the shower.

She had her head rolled back and her eyes closed under the spray of the shower so she didn't hear him come in. Lucky decided to watch unobserved for a while and stood behind Elizabeth admiring her beautiful form, growing more excited at each passing second.

"LUCKY DID YOU HEAR WHAT I SAID," Elizabeth yelled, her eyes still closed unaware of Lucky's presence behind her.

Unable to resist any longer, Lucky circled Elizabeth's waist with his arms, causing her to jump a little in surprise.

"You little sneak, how long have you been in here?" Elizabeth questioned, turning to face Lucky and reaching her arms up around his neck to pull him down for a long passionate kiss.

Lucky kissed her back greedily his desire reaching a fevered pitch at the feel of Elizabeth's naked body enfolded in his arms.

"Are you ready for Paris," Lucky whispered against Elizabeth's mouth.

"Yes, I can't wait, but the truth is it doesn't matter where I am as long as I am with you like this."

"I feel the same way."

All talking ceased and the only sounds that could be heard coming from the shower were the sounds of the spray beating down on Elizabeth and Lucky and the sounds of their mouths devouring each other hungrily.

Lucky lifted Elizabeth bringing their bodies closer together. He groaned when he felt her legs circle his hips bringing her heat closer to his throbbing manhood.

Elizabeth was on fire, her entire body screamed for fulfillment. She had been in a constant state of arousal ever since she awakened earlier to find Lucky sitting at the desk in her room wearing only a pair of boxers.

She had wanted to attack him then and there, but still felt a little shy about being so forward and instead had anxiously awaited the moment when Lucky would initiate another trip to paradise.

Lucky backed into the corner and slowly lowered them both until they were both sitting on the edge of shower seat. Elizabeth legs were wrapped tightly around Lucky's waist, his passion pressed up tightly against her.

He blazed a hot trail from her lips down the curve of her neck to the valley between her breast. There he nestled his face for a few seconds relishing the feel of Elizabeth's luscious breasts grazing the sides of his cheeks.

Cupping both breasts in the palms of his hands, Lucky glanced up at Elizabeth's face and almost came apart at the undisguised passion evident on her beautiful face. Her lips were parted and she was moaning softly at the feeling of Lucky's fingers kneading both her breasts.

Elizabeth blushed when she opened her eyes and found Lucky watching her through half closed lids. He smiled at her and suddenly she felt bold at the look of pure love shining in his beautiful blue eyes.

Lucky moved his lips to pull Elizabeth's breast into his mouth, suckling one then the other reverently, groaning at the pure ecstasy he felt.

Elizabeth arched her back murmuring words of encouragement as Lucky teased, caressed and suckled her supple breasts.

"I need you so much Elizabeth, I don't know how I lived for all those years without you. I never want that again," Lucky said raising passion filled eyes to meet Elizabeth's.

Elizabeth lowered her head and met Lucky's lips with hers for a gentle kiss. She ran her tongue along his lower lip shivering when she felt his tongue dart out to join her, imitating her movements.

"I need you inside me," Elizabeth whispered, moving her hips against Lucky.

Lucky groaned as her movement caused his member to throb almost painfully, his body screaming to be one with Elizabeth.

Circling one arm around her, Lucky lifted Elizabeth and guided her down onto his hardened member, groaning deeply as he filled her completely.

Elizabeth's mouth opened to release a soft moan at the feeling of him buried deep inside her filling every inch of her. They began moving slowly together, their movement quickening as passion intensified and pulled them towards the edge.

Lucky lifted and lowered Elizabeth's hips bringing them together over and over, his face buried between the valley of her breast. Deep groans emitted from deep within Lucky as he lost all sense of time and place and was transported to a realm of unimaginable pleasure.

Elizabeth felt herself nearing the edge of her passion, she cried Lucky's name over and over as he thrust upwards inside of her filling her again and again, their bodies rocking together in unison.

She screamed Lucky's name loudly when she finally reached the edge. Her climax, intense and long lasting consumed them both as her body shattered around Lucky's thrusting manhood.

Lucky made a few more deep thrusts into Elizabeth's body bringing about his own climax, pulling their bodies tightly together as they trembled against each other.

After an eternity, Elizabeth finally opened her eyes and lowered her head to kiss the top of Lucky's head. Lucky remained perfectly still his arms wrapped tightly around Elizabeth and his faced still pressed between the curve of her breasts.

"I just want to stay right here forever," Lucky finally whispered.

"I want us to stay like this forever too. I love you so much Lucky."

Lucky raised his head and looked up into Elizabeth's eyes so filled with love for him. He tried to squint back the sudden tears that spring to his eyes, but was unsuccessful. "I love you too Elizabeth, beyond anything."

Elizabeth locked her legs in back of Lucky and smiled down at him tears falling down her cheeks. "So Mr. Spencer, didn't you say something about Paris and Italy, buying a wedding dress and a private plane waiting for us at the airport.

Lucky laughed sexily, grinning up at Elizabeth. "Yes I did future Mrs. Spencer, all of the above and then some."

Their lips met for a gentle unhurried kiss, their arms tightening to pull each other tighter, both sighing deeply at the completeness they felt in each other's arms.
