Liz and Lucky left the ballroom and walked out to the terrace so they could
be alone.  After a few minutes of silence, Lucky was the first to speak.

Lucky:  Elizabeth.....I...

Liz:  Shhh,   I just want to look at you

With out saying another word Liz places one of her hands up to Lucky's faces
and then she places her other hand on Lucky's chest over his heart.  When she
felt his heart beat, tears streamed down her face and soon after Lucky was
also crying.  Liz then quickly put her arms around Lucky.

Liz:  Lucky please hold me

Lucky wraped his arms tightly around her back and held her close to him.  Liz
was still crying as she felt Lucky's hands on her, how she missed that.

Lucky:  I missed you so much Elizabeth

Liz:  I missed you to

Still holding each other and both still in tears, Lucky losens his grip on
Liz so he can look in her eyes.  He then lowers his mouth to hers and kisses
her.  It starts out slow but qickly deepens and becomes more passionate.
They pull apart breathlessly.

Liz:  Lucky please tell me what happended

Lucky:  I want to and I will, but right now I just want to enjoy being here
with you at our prom.  So what do you say we go inside and then afterwards
I'll tell you everything.

Liz:  I'd like that

Lucky takes Liz's hand in his own and takes her back into the ballroom.  As
soon as they enter the room all eyes on them.  Nikolas, Emily, and Juan walk
up to them.

Lucky:  Well done Bro...... thanks

Liz:  Wait a minute,  (looks at Nik and Emily)  you knew about this?

Juan:  I had nothing to do with this, by the way it is nice to meet you.  I
have heard tons about you.

Lucky:  Nice to meet you to.

Liz:  Wait back to my question,  Nikolas, Emily you knew Lucky was alive.

Nik:  Yeah....we set you up

Em:  Sorry but we had to

Liz:  (looks back at lucky)  How long have you been back?

Lucky:  Just a couple days.  I asked Emily and Nikolas to help me make this
night special for you.  Are you mad?

Liz:  Mad?  No I am not mad, stunned maybe but not mad

Em:  Well if it makes you feel any better, I was stunned to when I first saw
Lucky.

Juan:  And I am still stunned

Nik:  Well since I no longer have a date, (looks at Lucky)  thanks to you, I
think I am gonna get going.

Liz:  You dont have to leave.

Nik:  Well thanks but this is your night.

Liz:  (hugs him)  thank you

Nik:  anytime

Nikolas leaves and Emily, Juan, Liz, and Lucky go sit at the table.  A short
while later Lucky gets up.

Liz:  Where are you going?

Lucky:  I'll be right back, just wait here.

Lucky walks away from the table and Liz keeps her eyes on him as he makes his
way up to the DJ.  Lucky says something to the DJ and then walks back over to
Liz  When he got to the table he stood infornt of her as he held his hand out
to her.  AS the music started.

Lucky:  There're playing our song.  May I have this dance?

Lis does not say a word, she places her hand in Lucky's, and they walk to the
dance floor.  Lucky wraps his arms around Liz's waist and hers are arond his
neck.  They start to glide with the music.

Lucky and Liz both tighten their grips on each other. They continue to move
to the music as they gaze into each other's eyes.  Liz still cant believe he
is really there with her and holding her again.

As the music fades out Liz and Lucky just stand in the middle of the dance
floor kissing.  Finally Emily walks over to them and pats Lucky on the
shoulder as she clears her throat.  Liz and Lucky pull apart both blushing as
they look at Emily

Em:  Hey you two, Juan and I are leaving do you need a ride?

Lucky:  No ummm I have a room upstairs

Em & Liz:  (same time) YOU DO!

Lucky:  yeah! I thought it would be a quiet place for Elizabeth and I to talk
and have some time alone.  (turns to Liz)  If that is okay with you?

Liz: (she smiles)  Of course

Em:  Ok well I'll see you later them

Emily leaves and Lucky turns back to Liz

Lucky:  Shall we go up?

Liz:  I thought you'd never ask.

Hand in hand the leave the ballroom and get on the elevator to the 15th
floor.  Once at the room Lucky turns the key and opens the door allowing Liz
to go in first.  Liz enters the room and then turns back to Lucky.

Liz:  Lucky, please tell what happened.

CHAPTER 8

Lucky closed the door behind him, but not before putting the Do Not Disturb
sign on the outside door knob.  He then turned back to face Liz.

Lucky:  Come sit with me

He took her hand and lead let to the table where they both sat at opposite
ends.  Lucky reached accross the table and took Liz's hands in his own.

Lucky: What happened to me was done to get revenge on my father.  I was
kidnapped by a man who hated my father.  The fire was rigged to make it look
like an accident.

Liz:  Caused by candles

Lucky:  Yeah....I have been locked in a room all this time with no windows.
The man, Fasion made sure I knew what was going on with everyone I loved.

Lucky let go of Liz's hand and stood up from the table.  He removed his
jacket then removed his comberbun and his bow tie as he unbuttoned the first
two buttons of his dress shirt.  He then went to sit on the bed.

Lucky then continued to tell Liz all that happened to him.  He told her about
the phone call he tried to make to her and how Fasion showed him videos of
her at his memeorial service.  As he was telling her what happened, Lucky
began to cry.  Liz got up from the table with tears in her eyes and sat next
to Lucky on the bed.  She brought him close to her and held him in her arms.

Liz:  I'm sorry Lucky.....I'm so sorry.

Lucky looked up at her and put his hands on her cheeks as he wiped her tears
away.

Lucky:  I'm sorry for leaving you.  There was not a day that went by that I
did not think of you.  I just wish I could have been stronger.  I kills me to
know about how much pain I caused you....I.....

Liz:  (cuts him off) Lucky it was not your fault and you didn't have a
choice.  You were taken and held against your will.  I know you would have
never have left me if you could have prevented it.  (crying) I love you so
much Lucky....I never stopped not for one minute.

Lucky:   Our love was what kept me going.  I love you to Elizabeth with all
my heart and soul.

Liz smiled and then as their faces leaned in towards each other.  They met
for a passionate kiss that seemed to have lasted forever.  Finding each
other's tongues and tasting one another.

Liz:  This was the best prom night I could have ever asked for.  Thank you
for making my wish come true.

Lucky:  What was your wish?

Liz:  That you would come back to me and make evverything okay again.

They kiss again.

Liz:  I guess we should get out of here, I'm sure your parents are expecting
you home.

Lucky:  Actually they're not.  I...told them I would be out for the night.  I
thought you and I could stay here tonight.....Just the two fo us.

Liz:  As much as I would love to stay here with you tonight, I dont have
anything to change into and this dress cant be confortable to sleep in.

Lucky:  Hmm I didn't think about that.  I know you can wrear my shirt.

Liz:  ( shocked)  Umm you shirt?  As in the one you're wearing now?

Lucky:  Yeah, I can give you my shirt and I'll just sleep in my pants.

Liz:  Are you sure?

Lucky:  yeah

Liz:  Ok

Lucky:  Ok.

CHAPTER 9

There is a moment of silence and then finally Liz breaks it.

Liz:  Well I guess I should get changed.

Lucky:  yeah ok

Liz:  Lucky? (he looks at her) I...I need your....your shirt.

Lucky:  Oh right.

Lucky stands up and starts to unbutton his shirt.  He is moving down the
buttons very slowly.  Liz is trying not to watch him, but she cant help it.
Lucky finishes undoing the buttons.  Feeling a little shy since this will be
the first time Liz has seen him without his shirt, he take a deep breath and
slowly opens his shirt and slides it off of himslef.  Liz gasps at the sight
of him.  He is beautiful and all she wants to do is touch him.  Lucky turns
back to her to find her stairing at him.

Lucky:  here

Liz snaps out of her trance and she can feel her face getting all hot

Liz:  Umm what?

Lucky:  Here's the shirt, go change

Liz:  oh right.....ok.....I'll be right back.

Liz quickly takes the shirt from him and gets off the bed and rushes into the
bathroom.  She closes and locks the door behind her.  As she is standing in
the bathroom she holds Lucky shirt up to her face and smells it and then
smiles.  She then tries to get the zipper down from her dress but it is stuck
and she cant get it.  She turns back to the door and before opening it she
hesitates.  After a few seconds later she takes a deep breath and opens the
door.  Lucky is standing at the window.  Liz notices he has removed his socks
and shoes.  At first she just stairs at the back of him then she walks over
to him.

Liz:  umm Lucky?

Lucky:  (turns around) yeah

Liz:  Umm can you....can you help me with this zipper it's caught.

Lucky: (swallows hard)  Sure

Liz turns around  and after a few seconds she feels Lucky walk up closer to
her and then he takes a deep breath before he reaches for the zipper.  As he
takes a hold of the zipper his heart starts to pound as does Liz's.  Chills
run down both of their spines  Lucky slowly draws the zipper down and Liz's
bare back is revealed to him.

Lucky:  Umm there.....there you go

Liz: (Turns to face him) thanks

Liz then walks back into the bathroom.  Her heart is pounding and paulse is
racing.  It felt so good to have Lucky touch her again  It was like he never
left.  Liz slipped out of her dress and put Lucky's shirt on, which fell to
the middle of her thighs.  She buttoned all the buttons except for the first
two.  Then taking a deep breath she slowly openes the door.  Lucky turns
around from the window and almost loses his balance when he sess her.

Lucky walkes over to Liz and gazes in her eyes making her melt.  Lucky then
moves closer to her and puts his arm around her waist.  She rests her hands
on his arms.

Lucky:  You are so beautiful

Liz just smiles at Lucky brings his mouth down to meet hers.  As they kiss
Liz moves her hands from his arms to his bare back.  She feels sparks run
through her finger tips as she touches him.  Lucky deepenes the kiss as he
feels Liz's warm hands on him.  He then reaches up to her and unclippes her
hair pin and her curls come crashing down around her shoulders.

While still kissing, Lucky starts to guide Liz over to the bed.  Once they
are standing at the end of he bed, Liz breaks the kiss and sits down on the
bed as Lucky stands before her.  She startes to inch her way up the bed and
then holds her hand out for Lucky to join her.  He takes her hand and kisses
her mouth as he gently lays her back on the bed.

Liz and Lucky were kissing intencely as Liz's hands were first in Lucky's
thick hair and then all over his bare chest.  Lucky runs his hand down Liz's
bare leg feeling her silky skin.  He then makes his way up again and rests
his hand on her hip.  Lucky is all consumed by her and he knows if he does
not stop them now he will not find the strength again.  He breaks thier kiss.

Lucky:  Elizabeth wait.

CHAPTER 10

When Liz felt Lucky pull away from her she could not understand why.  They
had been apart for so long, this had to be right.  What was wrong?

Liz:  Lucky....what's wrong?

Liucky:  It's just....not the right time

Liz:  Why?

Lucky:  For the same reason it wasen't the right time the last time we were
in this situation.....in New York.

Liz:  Lucky we have been apart for so long I need you.  I want you.

Lucky:  God Elizabeth I want you to.  Seeing you here in my shirt feeling
your soft skin against mine only makes me want you more.  There is nothing I
want more than to make love to you right now.  The thought of it is what kept
me going when I was.....away.  The thought of touching you again, holding you
and loving you is what got me through, but I still want our first time to be
scared.

Liz:  It will be

Lucky:  I want to give you what you wated.  Candle light bouncing off the
walls and like you said, I want it to be in a place that means something to
us, not in a hotel room becuase we're here.  You diserve better than that
Elizabeth, we diserve better.

Liz:  You're right, but I still want you

Lucky:   I want you to and I love you

Liz:  I love you to

Lucky pulled Liz up so she was on top of him kissing her like he has never
kissed her before.  Lucky forgot all that was just said as he felt Liz body
pressing against his.  He slowly slid his hand up his shirt that Liz wore.
This surprized Liz but she did not stop him.  Lucky then moved so he he was
now on top of Liz.  She ran her nails all over his back, then Lucky started
to unbutton her shirt.  Liz knews she had to stop him.

Liz:  Lucky wait

Lucky:  Are you okay?

Liz:  I'm fine, but wasen't that you a minute ago who said this was not the
right for this.  Wasen't that you?

Lucky:  Yeah I guess it was

Liz:  Well...what happened?

Lucky:  I dont know.....you're just so beautiful and...

Liz  (cuts him off)  Lucky... what if I told you that this was special for me
in more ways then one.  It is special becuase I am here with you and you came
back to me.  After the fire it pianed me to think about that New York was our
only chance to be together.  I always wanted you to be my first, my real
first.  We got a second chance Lucky.  What if I told you that's it's okay?
Lucky I love you, please make love to me.

Lucky:  Are you sure Elizabeth?  Are you really sure.

Liz:  I'm sure, I want to be with you.

Lucky looks in her eyes and does not see any fear, he sees only love and more
love growing in her eyes by the second.  He slwoly lowers his mouth to hers
kissing her with so much fire and so much disere.  He knows in his heart they
are both ready for about to happen.

CHAPTER 11

After making love for the first time, Liz and Lucky lay in each other's arms
in silence.  Finally Lucky speaks up.

Lucky:  Are you okay?

Liz: Mmm I'm fine, you okay?

Lucky: (smiles)  I have never felt like this in my entire life.  I feel like
I am finally home.  Thank you for making feel that way and for waiting for me.

Liz: (props herself on one elbow)  Now why would you thank me for waitng for
you?

Lucky:  Well I always hoped you would, but the longer I was gone I knew the
chances of that happening would become less and less.

Liz:  Lucky it has only been a year.  Before last night I was still holding
on to you, to us, to our memory.  I was no way near ready to be with anyone
else.  Not like this.  You were...are the love of my life and even if you
were really gone no one could ever take your place in my heart or have that
title, no one.

Lucky (years in his eyes)  Thank you for saying that

Liz:  Well its the truth

Lucky:  I love you so much.  What did I do to diserve you twice?

Liz:  Well I still say I'm the Lucky one

Lucky:  And I still say we are even.

They both laugh and kiss again.  After making love again, Liz and Lucky fall
asleep in each other's arms.

~The Next Morning~

Lucky was the first to wake up.  He was holding Liz from behind her.  He
burried his face in her sweet smelling soft hair.  He wanted to absorb all of
her and make the memory last forever in his heart.  He ran his hand gown her
bare arm hoping to bring her out of her peaceful sleep.  Liz shrugged and
began to wake up.

Lucky:  Godd morning

Liz:  Yes it is a good morning.  It feels good to wake up in your arms.  I
was afraid last night was a dream

Lucky:  ( turning her over so was facing him)  No it wasen't a dream.  I'm
here and I am never leaving you again.

Liz:  I am going to hold you to that this time

Lucky brings her clser to him and kissers her slwoly at first and more deeply.

Liz:  I wish we did not have to leave

Lucky:  I know, I wish we could stay like this forever.

Liz:  (smiles)  Forever, thats us

Lucky:  yes it is.....Forever

CHAPTER 12

Liz and Lucky not wanting to got out of bed and got dressed.  Liz came out of
the bathroom dressed in her prom dress.  Lucky was dressed and holding his
jacket and comberbun in his hand.

Liz:  I dont want to leave

Lucky:  Me either

He pulls her very close to him and kisses her

Lucky:  Lets go

Liz and Lucky leave the hotel and Lucky takes Liz home.  The enter her house
and sit on the couch.

Liz:  Can we get together tonight?  I have a surprize for you.

Lucky:  How did you mamge that?  You just found out that I was alive
yesterday and you never left my side.  So how did you manage a surprize if
you did not know I was alive.

Liz:  You'll see.  Gram will be at the hospital tonight, she working a double
shift so she wont be back til tomorrow afternoon.  Can you come back here
tonight.

Lucky:  Of course I'll be here

Liz:  Ok (she kisses him)  Well I need to take a shower so How about you go
home, spend some time with your family,and come back here in a couple hours.

Lucky:  Ok see you soon.

Liz and Lucky stand up and she walked him to the door.  Before he leaves he
places a light kiss on her lips.  Liz closes the door and goes up to her room.

Lucky arrived home and his Mom was sitting on the couch.

Lucky:  Hey mom

Laura still gets startled when she hears his voice.  Sometimes she cant
believe she has him back.

Laura:  Hi honey, how was your night?

Lucky:  Amazing, it went off without a hitch

Laura:  And by the smile on your face I am assuming you and Liz had a
wonderful reunion.

Lucky:  Words cant describe how it felt to see her again and how it felt to
hold her.  I missed her so much.  It was everything I dreaned it to be.

Laura:  I am so happy for you. (she hugs him)  So I guess you will be going
back to see her right?

Lucky:  Yeah in a couple hours, is....that ok

Laura:  Of course, you two lost so much time.  Most people dont get second
chances so you grab on to yours and never let go.  Love her, be loved by her
and savor each monent.

Lucky saw the sadness in her eyes and knew why she was talking like that

Lucky:  Mom are you thinking about dad?

Laura:  I never could get anything past you

Lucky:  Is it really over between you two.

Laura:  Yeah, it has been for awhile, I've just been trying to....well it
does not matter.  The truth is I thought losing you would bring us back
together, help us to reconnect but it didn't.

Lucky:  I'm sorry for driving you further apart.

Laura:  NO!   This is not your fault.  Dont you dare blame yourself Lucky.
Your father and I just used up all of our second chances.  Thats why I said
to hold on to yours for dear life and never let go.  What you and Liz had and
were able to have again is a precious gift.

Lucky:  I know it is.  I love you Mom.

Laura: (smiles)  I love you to and I am so glad to have you back.

Lucky walks closer to his mother and wrpas his arms around her for a long
hug.  Laura hangs on to him.

Lucky:  Umm.  I am going to go upstairs and take a shower ad then I am going
to go spend some time with my percious gift.

Laura:  Ok, have fun.  Cherish your time together.

Lucky kisses Laura on the cheek and goes upstairs to shower.  He comes back
down a few minutes later all dressed in new cloths that Laura had baught him
since she knew he did not have anything.  Everything was lost in the fire
except for a few things, but Laura wanted Liz to have what was saved.  Lucky
left his house and made his way back to Liz's wondering what surprize she had
for him
