WAC stands for Wealdstone Active Community. WAC have been established for about three years and aims to help people, businesses, community and social groups in Wealdstone to work together to:-

- Generate community pride
- Provide a voice for residents
- Celebrate, strengthen, and unify a multi-cultural community
- Help communication within Wealdstone
- Enhance safety through liaison with the police and other initiatives

We are a non political, small band of volunteers, largely residents of Wealdstone and with representatives from several of the churches and schools in the area. Two of our management committee represent Wealdstone Active Community at the Harrow Partnership's Wealdstone Steering Group and Task Force.

We see our role as making sure the community's voice is heard, so that the council listens to and works with the community in Wealdstone. We also lobby for improvements in Wealdstone, and put on events - like the Jubilee Party, Blooming Wealdstone and St. Georges Day.

We are keen to make contact with and work with as many groups and residents in Wealdstone.

If you would like to get in touch, contribute to the next Wealdstone Live! or get involved with the work of WAC please contact the WAC Secretary, Jennifer Wilson on 020 8427 2937.
