More people in canada heard about Girl Guides. The 1st St Catherines' Company was the first to be registered, on January 11, 1910. More companies were started when families of girls who had been Girl Guides in England moved to Canada.
1912
Lady Jane Pellatt was the first Chief Commissioner. Guiding HQ was set up in Toronto. The 1st Toronto Company had the first ever Guide Camp. The Guides, mums were so worried they went to visit them every day.
1914/1918
First World war. The Girl guides did lots of things to help.
1917
Canadian Council was recognised by Parliament.
1920
The first Brownie Pack opened.
1927
Canada was 60 years old. There was a Guide camp for 300 Guides.
