The Children's Chapel, was one of two new chapels added to the church in 1954.The chapel, which is to the right of the altar, has a bright and  airy feel to it.Much loved by newly-weds, here the Church Registers are signed, on their wedding day. A curious fact, but true, that no matter what period of the year it may be, a butterfly will often be found flying around in this chapel.

The Miner's Chapel, this was the second chapel built in 1954, dedicated to the local men who lost their lives in the Cresswell Disaster of 1950. Over 80 miners ,many from Clowne, perished. The window is unique , in that it contains the image if a pits headgear. An ever burning miners lamp can be found in this quiet chapel, together with a large chunk of coal. The chapel forms the right flank of the chancel.
