Purchased Under Contract from Tashya
Tashya has blessed Blackthorn Hills Farm with one of her brilliant homebred fillies. After approaching Tashya through PM on the Impulsion Boards and asking her to keep us in mind for her next foal crop, she so graciously offered to breed me a foal right then and there. I was ecstatic; so I immediately visited Golden Bay Acres, which by the way has been in SIM since 1998, and walked to the pasture fence and started looking around. There were two mares I was looking for particularly, G Energie and Breath of Scandal WM. Once I finally sought them out in the fields I was watching Breath of Scandal like a hawk. Note only is she breath-taking, but her movements are so fluent and she looks like she's walking on air. My decision was made right then and there, I had to have a Breath of Scandal daughter. There was no denying that mares high caliber; an AHA champion through and through, I couldn't be happier to have one of her offspring in the barn. I haven't even gotten to Breath of Scandal's breeding yet. A mare sired by a stallion that was once owned and shown by Blackthorn Hills, Jehozadak, it just gets better and better. Jehozadak is a top competition horse showing at high level dressage and leaving the judges speechless. And Breath of Scandals dam, well what do you want us to say about her. Arscenic and Old Lace should be all that's necessary there. This mare has such a high reputation in ISG and with the AHA that she is sure to knock you off your feet. We originally wanted a foal by her, but when we saw her lovely daughter we couldn't resist. Now onto Balejka's sire, G Achilles. Man oh man do I admire this boy. When he was first brought into SIM I immediately told Tashya that I would no doubt want a foal from him in the future, it was just a matter of waiting for his career to get going. And here she is folks, my very own G Achilles foal. She is destined for success in the sporthorse arena. We are as excited as can be about getting her into the showing arena. She will be making her debut immediately.
