African Clawed Frog Feeding Frenzy

A healthy African Clawed Frog will rarely refuse food. It uses its long fingers to shove the food into its mouth. You can even teach your frog to take food from your fingers. If your frog 'bites' you it's okay since they don't have teeth. Just like most amphibians, they don't know when to stop. So feed them only as much as they will eat per 15-minute sitting once a day.
Earthworms, small fish, waxworms, turtle and fish pellets, brine shrimp, krill, shrimp pellets, even small strips of lean meat are good food to these frogs. Basically anything edible. Make sure you don't make your frog sick, stick with the brands you know. If you are giving something new or large to the frog you should probably only give them that item once a week. Obesity can be a problem with frogs.
