Deportivo Run Riot Over Old Rivals

White Riot 4-12 Deportivo

White Riot approached the game with league leaders and former leisure league division 1 rivals, with confidence having won their revious two fixtures and with a good record against their former foes. However despite a good start where after five minutes, the score was 1-1 and the 3 goal return of Aled Rees, Deportivo decively dismantled a miss-firing White Riot to show why they are run away leaders of play leagues sunday premiership. White Riot did compete well for the first five minutes of the game and all of the second half but the damage was done before half time, as Deportivo racked a hefty, one-sided scoreline, with clever passing and
know-how of how to play 5-a-side succesfully. In the second half however, White Riot showed what they could do with the ball and struck the post on 6 occasions and really pressed Deportivo but the damage had already been done and White Riot never looked like winning.Deportivo's Steve commented "Despite the one-sided scoreline, White Riot are the best team we have so far played against at Play Leagues. It is always a pleasure to play against the Riot and I wish them all the best until they play us again."

Reason: Passing the ball accross the face of the goal to a huge space in which there was no one and then asking where everyone was.
