White Riot Continue To Falter

White Riot 9-15 Partizan DVLA

Despite a very promising start to the game,White Riot fell to yet another defeat. For the first 10 minutes of the game, Partizan DVLA barely touched the ball as White Riot built a two goal lead, which would have been more had it not been for a combination of poor finishing and great goal keeping. When the first round of subs came however, White Riot lost their stranglehold on the game as Partizan played their way back into contention. Poor defending and great finishing ensured that Partizan built up a 5 goal cushion by half time. When Robert Kinsey, Geraint Havard, Aled Rees and Stephen Sypliwtchak were re-united on the field, White Riot fought back to within two goals, despite not having the same stranglehold on the game that they previously had, before the next round of substitutions saw the game again slip away from White Riot. A dejected Geraint Havard said after the game, "I'm not pointing fingers at anyone on the field, but that defeat was against the worst team the we have played at Play Football's Sunday Premiership. We showed early on that we could dominate as we starved them of possession, but again we have thrown a game away against a team we should really be hammering."
