Her breath pounded in whisps in the cold air as she ran through the woodlands of white snow as cold as the pulse of her heart.. Her fogged eyes though apearing to be blind saw all there was around her.. Her ears took in every sound and her hanging tongue hung tasting the air around her.. Her mind raced in anger and in agravation she was running from nothing.. Just running for something she knew was out there.. She was the wolf of Death and she knew the depths of her power and her duty.. Not a soul understood her, Not a soul even cared to try.. She was a unwanted pup who was born from a mateing that was not wanted.. Her mother an Alpha rapped by a beta of another pack..

Stolen before she could be killed like her siblings by a mother who did not want them and taken to be raised upon the blood of wolf and nothing more, Hawkeye was born.. Though a killer she was it was and still is all she was ever taught.. Never once did the white female think she was missing out on something, Nor understanding of that emptyness she was feeling in the depths of darkness that enveloped her world of hare and betrayal..

Not far two brother's stood waiting for the encounter both waited for.. They knew she was comming, their sister in half but blood none the less.. Connected by some invisible string the sons of a joining of both Spirit and Sun they where born and nothing could stop them from seeking out Death..

"Kai, She is close.. You still want to go through with this?? We both know she is colder then this storm in our dawn.." Came the poetic voice of the brother marked like a Summer's Midnight His name was Kijuri and he was the seeker and Dreamer of the 2 brothers twins and both lived for the same path but could not be more differant but same all in one..

"I walk no other path then the one before us.. Kiju, My brother she will not kill us this we know and more then once she attacked Angel and Kisasi to protect us from a sacrafice.. I dont know what but that female is our blood though she is so differant and not even a full sibling we are one.." Malakai rose from his rock to stand next to his brother his own bright orange coat contrasted much to the purple tone of his brother.. Two wolves one born upon midnight and taking the hues of a sunrise and then upon the sunrise of their day if entering came the second of the twins a wolf born at sunrise and taking on the tone of the midnight of his brother's chosen time to be born.. Both males held a lavender colored eyes with the same cream marks and deep red brown tail.. Both where seekers though Kijuri was a seeker and Dreamer Malakai was the one who spoke up and reacted first in defence.. Both brother's turned now in the direction they knew their sister would come, Both could feel her very close now..

The wolf of death haulted as she felt the presence of the males.. She was near starved as she had not made a kill in days. Her tase would only allow her to eat the flesh of wolf and there was none to be sacrafised to her desires and now though she was confronted by two prime meals she could not kill them.. She did not understand why only knowing that it was not ment for her to slay them in fact she brougt it upon herself to keep them safe from harm several times and each time she lashed out in anger at the brothers with a simple statement and left them.. And now she was once again in a situation she could not stop or control, Once again their paths where about to cross..

It was not long before the three souls stood there watching and listing but mostly waiting, waiting for something to break the uncertainty in the air around them.. 'Oh Therndalle it is you is it not.. It is thee who set us up to meet.. Make no mistake about it, I will have my revenge and you will get what is coming to you..' It was Hawkeye who thought such about their Moon Goddess.. It was her fear that spoke empty threats to her.. A fear she would not openly except that it was there.. Hawkeye remember everything but right now she could not help but to recall on the memories of the first time she had met the brothers.

Into the warmth of the den she entered the darkness to find the breath she longed to take.. A pair of bi colored orbs of yellow and blue hissed back at her as she intruded to witness the birth of 2 pups.. The angry father waited outside pacing as he could not enter the small den and it was unknown how Hawkeye passed through the small opening.. Hawkeye was enjoying the hatred for her being poured into her body as she drank it like the blood of the many wolves she had slaughtered to satisfy her sinful taste.. She watched now as the newborn males took their first taste of their mother's milk..

"Tell me would you have let me touch you?? Had you ever dreamed of letting your children have a chance as you give these two a chance to live.." She cussed out in a calm anger that seemed to take away the purity of what should be a joyest moment..

"Leave it to you to soil something.. I hold not remorse for what I did to that litter of hellish devils.." She spit back in anger as she would have spoken more but she could not stop the assault that came like a fire raging through the dry grass heated by the summer's sun.. Hawkeye had buried her teeth deep into the nape of the mother and puller her from her nest as her young pups fell to the soft moss and cried out by the sudden departure of their mother.. Hawkeye slammed Aurora to the ground and with such force the already weak mother drained of all energy from the long birth of her litter was knocked unconscious and tossed like a flea bitten pelt to the cold bitterness of the winter outside.. Toblin at his mate's side in an instant realized just ho serious the situation had grown.. He barked commands left and right as one male carried the wounded alpha female to a safe den..

"HAWKEYE!!" Came the fired tone of the black and white alpha as he dug into the soil but it was no use, the ground was frozen and nothing he did could make the small hole bigger.. But that did not stop the oranged eye male from continuing his attempts to rescue his newborn sons from the claws of the killer within.. Hawkeye ignored the sounds that came from outside as she knew nothing could stop her now as she stared at the shivering pups.. She was appalled by the site of them, so helpless and ugly.. Now there was no mother instinct buried deep within this cannibal wolf and yet she made no move to harm them.. She snarled deeply at herself as she roughly pulled them from the nest and tossed them harshly outside at their father's white tipped paws.. Her fogged gray eyes met those of the orange orbs that belonged to the alpha of Sycesin.. No words where spoken as two wolves snatched the young pups before any more damage could come but there was an understanding that took place then, between two enemies a truths was made.. Neither Hawkeye nor Toblin understood it nor would they question it and taking her leave Hawkeye turned and left just like that she was gone.. Kanners growled deeply as he rose to Toblin's side..

"You are going to let her just walk away?? Get her now, her back is turned.." He spit out at his alpha but was silenced as Toblin shot him a deadly look..

"Back off Kanners.. I can not stop you should you chose to go after her but know this, such is your decision not mine.." He spoke coolly as he walked passed the angry beta and picked up his pace eager to see how his mate and pups where.. Though Hawkeye had treated them harshly Toblin was quick to take note she did not have any knowledge of anything but.. Hawkeye reacted in kindness no mater how brutal it was.. But how long would this last?? He doubted that the cannibal step daughter of his was not turning over a new leaf, something happened in that den and he was determined to find out just what..

"Hawkeye.." The words pulled the demon wolf out of her dream like past of memories as she turned to the male who spoke her name.. Malakai, She should have know it would be him who spoke first.. As always Kijuri seemed to be the leader but he was always silent when confronted by others..

"I should have killed you when I had the chance.." She spit out

"Yes, Perhaps but you didn’t and here we are again.. Though this time we have asked you to come and here you are.." Kai smiled warmly at the female before him.. Not a single one of them senced the orange orbs that watched them in a mist of almost not being there.. Toblin was watching them through a dream..

"I do as no wolf asks.." She spit out as she leapt for Malakai and just before him she closed her blood stained fangs a hair from ripping his face apart.. In a closed snarl the two wolves stood there neither one moving.. Hawkeye could not explain why she could not kill or even bring harm to the brothers.. It angered her further that she could not taste the blood of her revenge..

“An yet here you be..” Malakai would have spoken further but he could feel the lavender eyes of his brother as he stood aside him.. Kai knew that it was not wise to anger their sister.. At least not to an extent to give her reason to ignore her unknown bond she had with them.. Such invisible and unnourished string of hope was all that protected the twin brothers from her fangs of death and slaughter but neither one dared to question it for if it broke there would be no hope to save her from herself..

“My sister.. Do what you must to survive, But if you can not live as well then what is it you fight for??” Kijuri’s musical tone made in heaven spoke and both Hawkeye and Malakai turned to him surprised he would break the mute science that had been his personality.. But Kijuri knew when to speak and when not to and today he sensed Hawkeye would half listen to his words for the purple wolf of midnight hues had a lot to say..

“Speak lupine you fool..” She snapped at him as she slammed him to the ground.. She could not harm them but that did not mean she could not rough them up.. Malakai longed to defend his brother and had it been any other wolf he would have been at her throat right now fighting as his Grandfather Sybin fought long ago.. But no this was Hawkeye and he knew she did not know of any other way to make contact then that in acts of violence.. He would put up with this, allow it not only upon his brother but for himself as well..

Kijuri grunted as his body made contact with the frozen ground, He had grown accustomed to the beatings both he and his brother received during their encounters he expected it and did not try to stop them for he knew that any contact made was another step closer to freeing her soul.. Only the two brothers held faith for her no other wolf dared to give her a chance but the three of them where connected almost like they where one soul within three bodies.. Kiju picked himself up to come to a poetic sit as he began to speak..

“Like it or not and deny it if you must, But we are one family here.. You are our sister.. You share our mother..” Kijuri did not wince as he knew he stepped over a tender line that would trigger a violent seizure.. And he was right as he closed his eyes and put faith into the Goddess above, He knew Therndalle was there and felt himself pulled harshly from the earth not even Sindagengarra could hold his paws as he was thrown into the winds of Seinn.. Kijuri was not afraid as he slammed into a frozen block of snow and ice that shattered at his impact.. Malakai leapt to his feet but stopped as his brother grunted and began to rise.. Hawkeye growled deeply as she charged at him slamming Malakai to the ground as she passed him to raise her front paws and pound the midnight hued wolf back to the ground..

“I have no MOTHER!!” She growled in ultimate anger as she held the brother to the ground..

“In body no.. .. .. .. But.. .. .. You can not deny your blood.. ..” Came the panted breath of the wolf beneath her..

“SISTER!!” Hawkeye turned to see the sunrise brother as she left Kijuri to confront him..

“You never answered his question..” He spoke out not afraid of her but simply wanting to divert her attention and anger away from his brother for a moment..

“I answer know one..” She growled as she advanced towards him but stopped as a shrill cry sounded around them both hypnotic and intoxicating sound of darkness all around.. She growled deeply as she knew who it was.. Angel.. ‘His timing could not have been better’ She thought as she grew tense with her hatred now.. She turned and left and was gone before either brothers could make a comment about her departure.. All three wolves knew they would meet again sooner then they thought..

Toblin woke with a start as the howl entered his ears and chilled him down the spine.. It was then he realized his dream was actually a vision of where his sons where.. He grew tense with what he saw, knowing now that these walks they took every day was in fact a search for the very thing their pack was fighting against.. The black and white alpha male turned to look upon his sleeping mate and decided then that it would be best to leave this bit of information hidden for he knew of Aurora’s hatred and shame she held or the daughter she felt should have been killed with the rest of the litter of seven pups she delivered and slaughtered that cold night so long ago.. Almost two winter now for this would me Hawkeye’s third winter.. Toblin walked out of the den and looked up at the brisk moon above..

“Oh Therndalle, What am I to do??” He asked unsure of how to deal with Hawkeye now that he knew how his sons felt about her.. To harm her now would mean emotionally upsetting his kin.. Could that sacrifice be made?? Before his thoughts could wander his orange orbs turned to a sleek white female with trapping yellow eyes.. Upon her right paw held her trademark three toed foot as she came closer leaving no footprints behind her to mark her trail.. She was a ghost, though she appeared just as Toblin last remembered her.. He closed his eyes as he breathed in the scent of both Kenji and his father.. He knew it was a gift that his mother by love brought for him.. Sybin’s scent enveloped him and he opened his eyes once again to stare into Kenji’s hypnotic orbs of knowledge..

“Kenji, you have caught me off guard this time.. Why now you chose to show..” Toblin also sat as he smiled warmly with the scent of his father strong in his nostrils so much to refresh the memory of the strong and noble wolf that once ruled and claimed this small stretch of land of the Akline River..

“You had questions.. I come to answer..” She spoke in a hollow voice, there was no body to her.. Just a soul.. But to make herself more life like she had created an illusion of her body she once possessed.. Toblin nodded as he closed his eyes preparing himself for what he may learn..

“Kenji I thank you for giving your immortality to your daughter, giving her the power of Spirit has made her alive again.. I can not thank you enough for giving her back her hope and a chance to start new again, but Kenji.. You died once and came back as an elemental goddess, why give that up.. I don’t understand.. Why would you come back and then leave us again.. Rora is so confused about what is what.. .. ..”

“Toblin, I can not explain why things have happened as they have..” Kenji interrupted.. “But know this, my daughter is strong, she will come to terms with herself but I sense this is not a good enough answer for you..” She closed her eyes as she made the young alpha wait.. She opened them again after what seemed to be ages long she began..

“My son, I know this is very hard for you to understand but hear me out now that you are older and I will speak the same words I spoke the day you and Aurora chose each other as mates.. I had two pups survive out of a litter of seven.. Apache’s Moon and Aurora Borealis and then there was you.. Only six days old when you where returned to your father I came out of my den to see him cradling you in his paws Kira no where around I advanced and took you before your father, my alpha could do anything to stop me I stole you and brought you down into the den where I raised you like my own.. You nursed from me as my son.. Sybin was grateful for me taking you and though he never would have dared stop me he could have.. That was the first step I ever took to defy my alpha..”

“Kenji I know what you did..” Toblin jutted in but repelled back as the heavy glare he knew all to well as a pup.. Though loving most of the time Kenji held and still processed the look of severe discipline. Once satisfied that there would be no more interruptions she continued..

“I raised you and taught you and each day was a battle over myself for what I was feeling.. And then Kira returns.. She was my best friend but that day she was a stranger.. I submitted to her out of respect and because Sybin was there but they both could feel the change and so I left.. I could not hold back the anger that filled me when you where told she was your mother.. And though you did not do it often those rare times I would hear you call her such was a stab at my heart.. I suffered long and hard in her return and then she disappeared again.. I was filled with rage as I wanted to hunt her down and slay her for this abuse.. Sybin stopped me.. The two of us fought bitterly with words and a wall was formed.. One of respect and one of defiance.. He was very clear at where my place was.. I backed down.. I saw only a faint regret in Sybin’s eyes as I walked away but at the time my anger would not let me see what I see now.. Luckily war broke out and we went into battle.. But I watched as your father died. So strong and brave, never had there been a more noble wolf and my heart died with him and I felt nothing as my own life was taken away.. I did not fear death but I feared life without Sybin.. In death our souls went separate ways as I took the power of the element in and though I never knew I held it my death allowed it to be born.. I wandered many months till I returned to Akline but you had changed the name, Sycesin and with good reason to.. For everything was different and I knew I could not stay here.. It killed me with each step I took I came to realize something as I watched you and my daughter together.. It made me sick.. I know I gave you my blessing and that by blood you are not my son but in my heart you are.. You where my son I wished where born to a coupling between myself and the one wolf I loved and never told.. I know this is hard for you to hear but Toblin, I loved your father and I could never have him.. I am sorry for all I have caused but like you said to live in a world with out love and the light of the sun to guide you there is only death.. And Death is what I felt when I returned to this pack.. I do not belong here but with you and my daughter I know this war can be won, and never doubt the powers of your kin.. Malakai and Kijuri are strong and they both see the vision and though it may seem they are siding with the enemy they are doing everything but.. Times are changing now that the elemental Gods and Goddesses are walking upon the earth, a new peace can be won if only we all can come to terms with the peace in out heart and souls as I have come to peace with mine.. Even the darkest shadows have a light..”

Toblin looked around him as her last words reached his ear.. She was gone before he could respond and knew that it had to be this way as he rose in hopes to feel her warmth or some sign that she was here but found nothing as he turned and looked back at the moon above.. He did not know what to think about this confession, nor what would happen now that he knew the truth.. Kenji loved his father deeper then what a beta should feel.. At least now the pain he always saw in her eyes when she looked upon him and Rora was clear.. But still he could not help but wonder about his father.. Kenji was at peace with herself but what about Sybin?? Was he up there fighting with his own battles?? Was he still at war with himself even though his body was dead was his soul still very alive and wandering in a lost sea of pain??

“Father??” Toblin was grateful for the soft melodious tones of his sons as they came up to him.. They took him from his painful thoughts and brought him for the moment back to earth..

“And where have you been?? Oh never mind.. Lets go inside.. I was simply waiting for your return and you have..” He spoke nothing of the events that had just taken place as his young sons walked past him grateful not to have to explain themselves as they laid close to their sleeping mother.. Toblin lay at the den entrance this time sure to keep all from leaving the den again until dawn came..

Hawkeye took her time going back to Black Sage, She even deliberately took the long way around the post where Angel watched her from.. She was thinking about her encounter with the brothers and though she did attack them and caused some physical pain neither where hurt nor emotional and mentally disturbed.. Hawk would not allow that and no other wolf would dare to cause any physical damage or she’d have their hide..

“You’re getting soft..” Came the taunting voice of the dark wolf whose color could not be described as anything else but dark.. His deep red eyes blood shot with age and pain, a pain both wolves seemed to live for.. Hawkeye ignored his comment and continued to walk on in her steady pace of deep thought.. Angered slightly and very amused Angel pushed himself a step faster so that he walked shoulder to shoulder with his alpha pair.. His teeth flashed a hellish white stained red as he growled deeply at her.. It was not in aggression well not completely, it was a game to both of them.. Everything they did and created was made out of this pain they seemed to live for.. Angel snapped at her cheek bone bruising it deeply as Hawkeye reared and fought back with equal if not more powerful force as the two wolves fought.. It was a battle that neither would win and soon a truths was made as the two large lupines stood face to face..

“So then all ye and powerful wolf of the Darkness, tell me am I so soft as to pin point the perimeter in which a lone female and male seek to rebuild a pack we destroyed long ago..” She spit out with venom.. The news angered Angel as he knew well who it was.. Though Black Sage already destroyed Sweet Grass and Silver Rain packs three others remained and those where Seeonee with Alpha Treaqwel wolf of fire and the remains of the Silver Rain wolves.. It was they who where their next target and yet Hawkeye here seemed to still dwell in another battle of her own which included Sycesin pack.. There where a strong pack equal in numbers to Seeonee and to themselves as Black Sage.. Once allied with Fire & Ice pack that also was torn apart limb from limb by the wolves of Black Sage.. And the third pack in a far away land across ages of earth lay hidden and protected and none of their direct concern was Laburnum.. Only the name was known and thus far the pack was a myth..

“Diamonds of the Sky..” He cursed the name.. Hawkeye gave a devil’s grin as he spoke the name..

“Yes, The worshipers of Therndalle herself.. In fact I tell you O’ Dark one it is Solar Myst who leads them.. And you know very well who this one is, Daughter of Alpha Knight and Luna whom is the niece of our Keltic Myst.. Her legend is more known then mine..” Hawkeye spun round with lightning speed as Angel circled her to mount but she evaded him and stood once again nose to nose with him..

“Who is your source??” He snapped.. He glared heavily as Hawkeye shrugged and walked passed him as though he had said nothing and then a few steps away she threw him a knowing glare..

“Kisasi” She spoke one single word that sent a wave of hatred through the dark male as he leapt for her but again with speed of lightning Hawkeye spun round to face him and was slammed harsh into the ground as Angel pinned her beneath him.. He growled deep in his throat as he bore his claws into her flesh making needle point wounds that began to bleed around his black dagger like claws..

“I told you to stay away from that boy..” He growled as his chest heaved deeply with each breath..

“Jealous are we.. I told you I obey know one nor do you own me so BACK OFF” She growled as she kicked Angel in the groin area knowing well what mark to hit to shoot him off of her.. Upon her feet in an instance she confronted the male.. Neither wolf moved as both knew they had an eternity for each other but it seemed that with each passing day Hawkeye became more and more distant not only with herself but to her loyalties and today was one of those day where it seemed Hawkeye had none.. She belonged know where nor wanted to.. She was living simply for herself and for the pain she could cause the wolves around her.. Angel had been starving the cannibal female for nearly a week now hoping that the punishment would make her bend to his will but with each step he made she fought back with an equal force and it was clear as day that she was malnourished.. But then why the defiance??

Hawkeye turned and left leaving Angel there as she returned to her pack.. Though they took separate paths both alphas made it back to the center of Black Sage nearly in the same step..
