Plot Synopsis:
This was a variety show, fairly similar to the Krofft Supershow, hosted by the Bay City Rollers (best known for their #1 US hit single, "Saturday Night"). Besides performing "in concert" at the beginning and ending of the show, the Rollers also appeared in short filmed bits and they introduced the various segments and participated in other wacky antics with the regular cast members.
The two main segments were Horror Hotel and the Lost Island. Horror Hotel stared Witchepoo, from H. R. Pufnstuf, who ran the hotel with assistance from other Pufnstuf characters, including Dr. Blinkey, Orson, and Stupid Bat. Lost Island had an all star Krofft cast with H.R. Pufnstuf, Sigmund, Weenie, Dr. Shrinker and Hugo (although Dr. Shrinker became Dr. Deathray), Enik and the other Sleestaks and dinosaurs from the Land of the Lost.

Comments:

After 8 weeks, the show was cut back to a half hour format and was renamed the Bay City Roller Show. The last 5 episodes were never shown in their entirety.

The concert segment at the end of the show consisted of the Rollers lipsynching to shortened versions of 3 of their songs.
