Strings always breaks on new wooden axle?
Here is a tip use a old string and coil it round the axle and pull making the string rubbing against the axle this makes the axle smoother and will reduce the strings to break easily.
Save money on breaks pads
There is a few ways to make your break pads lasts a little longer
1. When the break pads don't respond well you could try changing sides of the break pads. For example on a Bumble Bee take the break pads on the yellow side and put it on the black side and the same for the other side.
2. This was told to me by a friend, he said that he puts paper under the pads to make it thicker. I know some of you might be wondering how I'm not very sure myself but you can figure it out and try it yourself.
3. Push the break pads near the ball baring this will make the yo spin shorter but if your break pads are out the only things that is important is that the yo comes back right?
How to make my transaxle spin longer
If you have a Profire and it doesn't spin long and you want it to spin long, well you've come to the right place so this is what you will do use sewing machine oil to out it on the axle and it will definitely spin longer, but most important of all is that you practice.
How to make my transaxle respond well while looping
Use grease for better loping performance. There are many types of grease but recommended bicycle grease. You could also use every type of grease and see which one you prefer.
Can't loop with your Bumble Bee
The Bumble Bee is not a very good looper but you can change all that by pushing the break pads near the bearing, this makes the yoyo spins less and improve the ability of the yo to come back better.
Another way is to use grease and put a little around the two sides of the bearing making it unable to spin depending on the amount and type of grease used. If you want to remove the grease don't wash with water because this will only make your life span of the bearing shorter and the bearing will rust.
Washing bearing
To wash bearing use something that will evaporate fast and will not rust the bearing easily like kerosene, lighter refill, alcohol and other stuff that is safe for the bearing.
Keep on yo-yoing and don't let anything make you feel a shame of it.
